Description of the forest
Between the cities of Riverrun and Kyoko lies the deep forest of Pinscythe where some mythical creatures of dark and deadly nature reside. Also hides the city of the fairies (Lycium barbarum or wolfberry city). The city is suspended from the treetops two miles from the centre point between both cities. At this point is the old samurai outpost now given a new name by its new owner Buckthorn outpost, stands steadfast against the ages. Its original name was lost during the destruction of Riverrun which the samurai who lived there went to the aid of.
Pinescythe forest is roughly 14 miles wide in diameter. It stretches from the edge of Riverrun’s farmsteads to the foot of the mountains around Kyoko. Through which the large and straight road of Pine Path goes through. The Path is known to be the only safest route to either cities and is guarded by the rarely seen Fairies of Lycium barbarum.
