Kalan chuckled again, still pressing his released hand against his chest, the other hand soon joining it to pet said said chest gently as he continued to press little kisses to his partners lips.
"I'm glad my.. Impromptu gift is acceptable.." He murmured, sliding his hands up until his arms were back where they had been only a few moments ago, looped around the other males neck.
"In fairness.. I'm not sure I would have let you leave tonight either way, love.. Though you may be a little disappointed where the bed is concerned." He stopped to kiss him once again, leaning on his chest all the more, "It is a lot less comfortable that the bed in my usual barracks.. But so long as I may settle on you, I'm not sure I'll have much to complain bout.. Besides, it must be just a little more comfortable than the floor.. And maybe.." He smiled a little more impishly after the next kiss her pressed to Zakns lips, "We could.. Distract ourselves from said discomfort.. Maybe.. Well, once I've recovered from our earlier outburst.."

That pretty much resolved the decision. He was only male after all.. and that wasn't the sortof offer of sugestion that you gave up easilly when it came tumbling from the lips of the one you'd just confirmed your love with... "I love you." he murmured against Kalans lips, still holding the other male to him as he pushed himself up to his feet, keeping his arms around Kalan so that the other male was prevented from gaining his own feet.
Zakn wanted to keep him in his arms.
"I thinking a little distraction could go a long way to improving the state of the bed..." he mumbled quietly, his lips only seperating from Kalans for the breifest moments to allow the words to pass. "The companny will do it a lot of good as well I feel..." it was soppy, terribly so... but the day had come around to be so much better than he had hoped it would!
And honestly..
What could possibly be a better way of cementing their new found affection than by showing Kalan just exactly how he felt about him.. it wasn't like it was the first time they'd found themselves rather closer than they should have been. But this time they had no reason to pull back from it.
"You're perfect..." he stated, sinking onto the bed and laying Kalan just beside him, partyly on him, and very much still in his arms..
Whatever followed was sure to be wonderful...

Kalan continues to kiss the other males lips as he was lifted, breaking the contact only for a moment to chuckle, "I'm impressed.. Not needing your hands to help you up.." It was a silly little comment, but he couldn't help himself.. He did also need to breathe somewhat as well, he supposed.. He did use the oppertunity to take a hold of the pelt that had still been sandwiched between them before their lips met once again, wrapping his legs around Zakns middle to make sure he couldn't be put down.. Okay, and to make carrying him that little bit easier.
He dropped the pelt on the foot of the aforementioned uncomfortable bed when he was near enough to do so, and laughed a little as they settled down partly through nerves. It was only the second time he'd been with another so intimately, he didn't want to make too much of a fool of himself, "I am certain that the distraction will work wonders, love." He mumbled a little, the blush back in full force as his brain caught up with the situation, as he rolled a little so he was settle on his soon to be lovers chest, fingertips stroking his jaw gently, "I could not wish for better company.. Or more handsome company.." He smiled a little more pressing their lips together for another kiss, shyly relishing it what he knew would follow.
