Ok, me and my gf are close, but our ages aren't. She is under the age of consent, but we both would like to dive deeper into our relationship. We have about a 3 and 1/2 year gap between us, and we are thinking about doing it. I really like her, and she likes me and we both feel we are ready. However, if I get caught then I could be charged...
Any suggestions or thoughts? ((For and against opinions are accepted))

Three and a half years isn't a lot, so I doubt you have anything to worry about. In fact, many state's statutory rape laws say the older person cannot be charged unless there is more than a four year age difference.
The police really don't want to be bothered with couples with small age differences. And it's not like the police will go to door to looking for couples with age differences. Statutory rape laws are usually filed when the parents of the younger person complain. If her parents are ok with the relationship, there's even less to worry about.

Ok, well I don't think her parents would approve, but we intend for them not to find out... And I actually looked up the law and your right, but then I found another bogus law in its place. But like you said I doubt the police would care.
Tyvm!

Nothing wrong with not telling the parents; your sex life isn't anyone else's business. Just make sure sure she can get paps and birth control.
