I shall protect my girls from evil! comic books are not evil! if handled properly, a comic book is as legitimate an art form as paints or drawings, and as legitimate of a storytelling device as a novel. if handled inexpertly *koff superman koff* they are merely a short read during which one can set aside the worries of the day and relax. and even an inexpertly written comic is better than any television show. talk2hand Err.... Hmmm.... *confused* confused

Hmmm.... *confused* confused consider: even in a poorly written comic book, one is still reading. one can still increase one's vocabulary. also, one can explore important literary devices such as symbolism, character development, the proper and improper uses of flashbacks, etc. on the other hand, if you turn on the TV you get - survivor. big brother. the tim and eric awesome show. xp
