so, with the new set of OVDs or OVAs what ever you want to call them out. and with a new set coming this summer. What do you think?
Was the manga's designs finally put in to anime the way it was meant to be? or was the OVDs not that good?
White wing covers chapters 176-184 the training before they go to magic world
Hair color changes were made so every one had the right hair color this time around. Asuna now is back to one blue eye and one green eye. Unlike in Negima!? were she had two blue eyes
the voice cast returns for this, and the art style was closely watched by Ken him self to make sure it looked like his designs.
This summer a new set of OVDs will be coming out in japan with volumes 27+ of the manga. with 4 eps all 30mins each. If the new set sells well a movie will be made. The new set covers intro to magic world, and the group being split up.
So, who can't want for the new OVDs? How will this be handled with a English release as it was released with the manga in Japan. If Funi gets the rights to it, what do you think should be done, have it bundled with the English manga, or have it released in one DVD?
also, the opening for the first anime are back, but with a remix. The full class copy is used for both songs, but with a very good remix.

I'm really looking forward to it. Some of the things that the animes and OVAs have done in the past really pissed me off, but I heard that Akamatsu-sensei is gonna be really involved with this one so I expect alot.

...I would look forward to these... If it weren't so painful to look forward to them because of lack of money. ;_;
It sounds really awesome though... Bundling episodes with manga... That is definitely the way of the future methinks! >_> Although, I wonder how much that would increase costs....
What about your opinion on these questions of yours, Sarah-Senpai?

So far eps 1-2 of the first set are subbed and up on video sites
3 is out raw
I think the cost of it only goes up a few dollars, but the OVDs are Japan only right now, but the OVD manga copys, come with new cover art. I saw one of the covers and it's way way more fanserviced.
Funimation has not gotten the rights to them yet, and most likely will get them some time this year at best.
The new set coming out in Summer will be called Negima!:Mō Hitotsu no Sekai (Another World)
still 4 eps, still going to be with volumes 27+
I like the idea of it being manga only released, I do think that they could make a new anime, I mean the wait time for the eps is about three months each. But it shows in the level of detail and all the hair and eye color changes plus the change in the anime's art style.
I'm hoping that they make a movie like there planing if the new set sells well, I wonder if it will be manga based and cover the Festival ark or will it be going on after the new set of ovds?

the new anime is better then the past tree try's (I say three as I count the Spring and Summer OVAs as it's own thing)
I saw a ad for the new OVD set, Fate was in it. It looked so cool, Can't wait to see Fate in his anime plot that has been waiting forever.
