Talner shook his head as he drove up to the toy store. He had two boys in the car. One was an adult, the other around 6 years... and it was the adult that had wanted to come here. In fact, Kabocha was not thrilled at all. Nate was grinning from ear to ear as they approached and he could barely wait for the car to come to a stop before jumping out and running on into the store. His father sighed and finished parking the car before following in with the younger boy.
Once inside, Nate raced back towards the cars section, earning some interesting glances along the way for his excitement.

Tobi as thinking of heading straight to the musaeum library but what his mother didn't know wouldn't hurt. Right?
So instead of heading straight to where he said he was going to go, he stopped off at the shops instead to have a look around- Well, his first reason to go into the shops was to escape reality... The other reason was because he secretly hopped Luna would be in there.
As he was walking along it felt as though the heat was being turned up, a slight change in the room temperature made his wax skin start to sweat and dribble. And then it was all over.
He felt in the back of his head the same feeling he got around his little brother and Luna, but why was he reacting so badly to the slight temperature change?

Nate's excitement grew as the tingling feeling he'd taken to mean another scroll child was around grew steadily stronger. The person was getting closer. The older boy glanced about, wondering just who was the source of this sensation. As was usual, he didn't realize just how much heat he was radiating. But his excitement had led to the release of heat.
Now... where was this scroll kid...?

Tobi wandered around looking for the other child, yet continuosly the hot flushes kept coming stronger and longer and hotter.... And lots of Gaians were giving him weird looks, maybe it was because he was practically melting before them but it was also because he was still a child. Yeah he was 13 years old but that made no difference to what other people thought.
His thoughts suddenly stopped dead as his feet stopped moving. He looked down as his 'feet' seeped through his shoes and his 'legs' seemed to lower him slowly to the floor into a lovely big puddle, the tingling in that he felt seemed really strong the other scroll child must be some where near. He -Or she might no what to do..... He was now waist melted and his face was begining to droop. Some passerbyers stopped in panic and were about to scream when he managed a blurred, "Don't worry, it happens all the time when I feel a little heat."
They screamed anyway.

The screaming drew Nate's attention and he went to find the source. What he found was a kid that was turning into a puddle and the tingling sensation growing much stronger. Wait... was he doing this!? Nate's eyes went wide as he stopped and concentrated. Ugh, he was leaking heat again. He was surprised he hadn't burnt his clothes off yet...
Taking several deep breaths and pulling a hand-sized round stone from a pouch at his side, the comet boy concentrated on the heat he was leaking. Slowly the air around him cooled, finally ending up almost normal, though a bit warmer than one would expect.
Nate sighed. That was the best he could do and he just hoped it would do. His attention then turned to the kid he'd practically melted into a puddle by mistake. "Sorry... I forget sometimes..." He hated his power. He couldn't control it very well and it did things like make the couch go up in flame and leave marks on carpet. The guy looked like he was about to start crying. "You okay?"

Tobi saw another adult rock up, but this one was different, a quick thought pased through his melting mind and pushed him to think, Scroll child?.
He was correct in his usumption as he watched the man bring out a stone or something and slowly the heat started to level out and he stopped melting. "I'm fine, it's cool." he wriggled his melty bits around trying to make himself solidify faster. "Yeah It's happens all the time... I'm ccol. Well... I am now." He managed to hold out a slightly mushy lenth of wax with a blobby bit at the end... It was once an arm and hand, "I'm Tobi, Uhh Wax kid. I'm serious. Every single part of me is wax.... I'm really not kidding...." He gave it a little consentration and slowly he started to take shape again, his face came back his body started to lift of the floor and he hopped no one had tread on him as he really didnt feel like missing bits.
After a couple of seconds he'd basically 're-formed' into a little kid. Well that's what otehr called him, personally he thought himself to be what's called a 'Pree teen'. He was kinda tall for his age, pure blonde/white hair and crystal clear blue eyes with a querky little embarrased smile.

Nate just watched as the boy reformed himself. He sighed with relief, glad that he hadn't really hurt the kid. "Wax, huh?" That was weird. Nate took the offered 'hand' and shook it, releasing it fairly quickly. No sense in melting the boy any more than he already ways. "I'm Nate. My scroll was a comet."

As his, almost, hand touched the older boys'? hand he felt a tingle as if it were going to melf off... Again...
Now Tobi looked the guy before him up and down as he told him his scroll was a comet. He'd over heard a conversation once about a fellow scroll child who was uber hot... Heat wise.
He looked like a giant teen in the clothes he was waring and the way he looked but Tobi couldn't quite guess how old.
"Wow, I heard you once set on fire a whole couch." Tobi said his voice filled with awe(sp?), "All I do is melt into the couch." He smiled up at Nate a little shyly.
Tobi's body still had'nt totally reformed and he was still a fair bit squishy, he could feel his body wobbling as people walked past him.

Nate looked a bit embarrassed at that. "Yeah... I burned parts of the couch and my bed and the floor... and a taxi... it was when I first got my powers. I still can't really control my power well." He was better, he did know that. But it seemed that there was just no real off switch for his heat radiation.

Tobi grimced(sp?) "Yeah, I kinda know that feeling... Well not the burning things bit but the not being able to control things. I feel like someone else is controling me sometimes."
His body with a little consentration had refrormed into its normal self.
"No ones really taught me anything yet but I figured out on my own that if I consentrate really hard I can normally reform. That is if I've melted but if I freeze I cant move at all and mum has to stick me infront of some heat to make me melt. Its kinda anoying really." He avoided adding that when he gets embarrased or blushes and his face blurs and goes all weird.
"So whats brought you here today?"

Nate nodded. "Yeah... I took classes to try and learn, but one of the ladies was really really mean and I didn't learn anything! She thought I was stupid or something." He frowned, remembering her. "But then I met another scroll kid, Halycon, and he helped me a bit. I use this to focus." The boy held up the round stone he carried with him. "I think of all my heat going to here and then can slowly make the heat stop." Or, well that was the hope. He'd never actually made ALL the heat stop yet.
"But then I forget or get excited and all the heat comes out again." He sighed, glad for the boy's question as a distraction. He grinned. "Toys, of course!" Yup, Nate may look like an adult, but he was still a kid.
