hmmm. Well im not good at writing poetry nor do i read it much but i must say it was pretty average. The fourth line seemed out of place so that really messed me up but other than that it all rhymed well.

The fourth lines means to something like this:
A dragon will never give you straight forward advice. Rather than give a person advice which will help them reach their goal faster, a dragon will give them as little information as possible. This is because dragons are believe to have grown to become thousands of years old. The less information that the give you, the more fun it becomes as they watch you run around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Dragons are, by nature, tricksters to no end. Because many of their attitudes, they are believed to be the protectors of Balance, and thus rather than get too involved, they guide with riddles or puzzles and watch from the side lines smile Hope this helps clear up any confusions.

i didn't mean it like that. Its just you talk about all of that in the first two lines then you go on to something else in the third. Go back to it in the fourth, then go back to something new in the fifth. It just didn't read right.

I can say from experience that this is truly how the mind of this particular writer works. One moment, she is writing something and then "Oh! I just remembered something else!" and then she goes back to writing the original stuff, and it repeats over and over.
She is very easily distracted =P I think it's funny hehe. She writes good stuff though.
