She had been looking forward to this concert, she hated the fact that she couldn't do things for herself and it was that which had led to this. She allowed her carer's to dress her and then allowed her hair and make-up to be done. She had even got people to decorate her wheelchair for her, just so it looked a little better, she had found these things looked horrible! It took a while to get her ready, everything was so much slower when you couldn't do it all yourself. She was however at last ready and she didn't look all that bad either.

"Thank you!" She beamed at her carers as they pushed her to the edge of the stage. There she her microphone was put on, it was a head microphone which meant she didn't have to hold one of have one put close to her. This allowed her more freedom to move about if she wished and she liked that.

Someone was on stage introducing her and she could hear an applause as her name was mentioned. She was an unknown artist other then the shooting no one had heard of her before. However now she was going out to raise money for those who had to live in these chairs because she knew they were far from nice.

She was given the nod and with that she wheeled herself on stage, she couldn't see anyone the lights were shining in her face and they were bright and hot. It was so hot on stage! She hadn't expected that though she smiled as she wheeled herself on stage.

"Hello everyone! Thank you for coming! I hope you enjoy this evening and thank you for helping to raise money for the people who are in wheelchairs and for those who are disabled!" She smiled, shocked by how many people it seemed were here.

She manouvered herself so she was in the centre of the stage and then the lights went down and the music started. This was better then she had imagined and the fact that she was tied to this wheelchair didn't bother her in the slightest, in fact she rather liked it.

The first song she sang was 'With a Little Help From My Friends' by the beetles. She had always adored the song and well her friends had been very helpful to her during this time.

She followed it by 'Lean On Me' another song she adored. She followed them by a couple more songs that she adored that were all about friends and having people good around. Though she knew that not everyone had people around them like she had been lucky enough to. So she had written a song for those who survived without anyone and about how strong they were and it was for them so that they could feel good about themselves.

She found herself enjoying this a lot more then she thought she would. She had been so worried that being in a wheelchair wouldn't have made it as fun but she was singing, she was doing the thing that she adored and would happily do for years and years. She was happy, completely happy. The lights were making her really hot and she did wonder if her make-up would run because she was sweating so much but in the end did it really matter? She was enjoying herself.

As she finished singing her song she smiled to the crowd.

"Thank you again for coming, I have a few more songs that I am going to sing tonight but I just wanted to make you all aware that anything you buy tonight, all profits will be going to charity and there are buckets around the room with the stewards if you want to give anything else!" She smiled again, she liked raising money for other people it made her feel good about herself. She had been a little gutted that she was giving all the profits she would of had but it wasn't that bad. She loved it.

Next she sang another song that she had written, this one was about life and how it should be cherished no matter what. She dedicated it to anyone with problems in their life as it spoke about good things and how there is a silver lining to every dark cloud.

Next she covered two more songs which were about love and friendship and then she finished we her version of 'We Will Rock You' getting the crowd to join in as she sang it.

As the song came to a close she thanked everyone again for their genorisity and said that she would find a way to let people know how much money was raised for charity.

The crowd wanted her to stay on she knew that but she couldn't. Most probably would have had an encore but she still wasn't in the best of health and as the lights went down she felt as if she could sleep for eternity! Her carer came on stage and wheeled her off and then took the microphone off.

"Well done Isi!"

"Thank you, that was truely amazing!" She smiled hoping that she would get better so she could do a proper full length gig next time.
