Cress turned to look at Rose to see that she did indeed get back up on her hooves, and stole a glance at Aitumn. She couldn't help the smirk that played on her muzzle as she noticed his showy gait, knowing full well what he was up to, but she wouldn't ruin his fun. "Hurry, hurry!" She chimed to the two fillies, almost to the water's edge herself.
Rose gasped, realizing how far behind she was than her mother. She was about even with Tehya now, and was determined to get to the water as fast as she possibly could. Which meant at pretty much a crawl, like her tree-sister. With brows furrowed, she glared at the sand directly in front of her hooves with each step, finding that the closer they got to the water, te easier it was to run, and the faster she could go, until she was finally cantering fairly smoothly - until she felt a bump at her side. Squealing, she jumped sideways and tripped over her hooves, falling onto the firm sand and splashed slightly at the edge of the water. "Ute!" She gasped.
"Yes mimila," the golden mare said with a laugh. "You're in safety, and from that face, you looked like you were bent on running straight into the ocean!" And it did; Rose was making a face of such pure concentration, she hadn't noticed that she'd reached safety and was still going.
The filly offered her dam a sheepish grin as she got up, turning to see if Tehya had gotten to safety in time, and she had! She grinned, prancing over to her sibling, unaware of the bits of sand that were stuck to her mane and hide. "Ha, riruy didn't tag us, we're all in safety! ...so, what now?" She said after a pause, looking between their parents. They were in safety, and riruy hadn't tagged anyone - was the game over?
