Yesterday I went on one of my many spending binges. I'll have you know I spent $50.00 less than the usual $300.00, but it was a spending binge nonetheless. ( Although I really wish I had bought that puzzle. -snaps fingers- ) Now, I bought a really fine corset, as you know, I love buying them and then prancing around outside of school in them. ( What better outfit to wear to a date than a corset, no? ) Well, once I'd brought them home, I began removing the tags and such, and on the one corset I'd bought this time, I found a tag that disturbed me a little bit. So alas, I'll be running it back to Hot Topic and exchanging it in order to spend that $42 dollars on lingerie, or something pretty like that.
On this corset there was a tag, and I, because I like reading absolutely everything, read it, it said:
"This product contains Lead and Lead Compounds, Chemicals known in the state of California to cause Birth Defects or other Reproductive Harm."
What's sad is I had to debate if I wanted to return it, though in the end
I decided that Velvet, Lace, Latex-like material, and Lead Compounds wasn't worth having ovarian cysts and babies without arms ( Lol Nessarose ) over.
