Thank you for submitting your report. The involved hacking parties have been dealt with. In the future, please be aware that Gaia moderators and admins will never ask for your password. Report anyone that asks for your password. Also watch out for fake log-in sites, always check for http://www.gaiaonline.com when entering in your Gaia Username and Password. For more account safety information, please read these Safety Tips.
Your case is being reviewed for potential item and account recovery:
Do you still have access to the e-mail tar.chy@hotmail.com, if so, please try preforming a password recovery located here:
http://www.gaiaonline.com/account/sendpass
If you do receive a new password, go ahead and tell me, we will then proceed with the rest of the recovery.
However, if this proves unsuccessful, then we will need an e-mail not currently registered to a Gaia Online account so that we can send a password to the hacked account. Please note that this is not a guaranteed service. Should your case be approved for recovery then you will find that the e-mail you provided us will receive an e-mail from us supplying the hacked account with a new password or I will PM you with instructions on how to use our password recovery feature and items and gold will also reappear on the hacked account. If you don't then that means your case has been denied. Also note, if your items/gold are recovered, you may notice that not all the items on your list of Missing Items were not restored, item recovery judgment based on what we find was taken.

The only problem I see with this is that I'm not sure if items that were sold in the marketplace DIRECTLY from the hacked account will be given back.

-sigh- so ya, its been almost 2 months since the incident, and gaia hasn't done anything about it.
It is realy a sad day when gaia turns its back on its users.

Um, correct me if I am wrong but a mod replied to your report yes? Did you reply back to the mod after he asked you to attempt a password recovery?
Did you know there are sites and games that don't even resolve hacking or scamming cases? It's basically if you are hacked or scammed thats your own fault.
That really does sound like Gaia is turning its back on the users.

Sooo happy days, its been 70 days since the incident, yes I have replayed to the mod. Yes I provided an e-mail that they could send the password to, yes, nothing happend.
I also sent him a pm april 11th asking nicely if anything was going on with the account, and it sat in my outbox unread.
So Today I sent him a pm asking if he had received my previous pm and reiterating what i had asked in the previous one, though I wish I could have just copy pasted it or something but it completely went poof, its not in my sentbox or outbox.
So whatever. I dought anything will ever be done about it. Congrats hacker.
Would refiling the report help at all? Or Should I just completely give up?
