The only beauty to her that I could possibly compare
Is that of colors in autumn, the leaves
And fresh smell of cool, crisp air,
As her eyes shine brighter than the fiery eves.
For the fall is the only season that, as her,
Can take the very breath from my lungs,
Push my heart to beat faster, as often occurs
When I see her face, her wonderful eyes so young.
I wake every morning in hopes to see
Her gorgeous face, and fall asleep every night,
Praying that visions of Autumn are in my dreams.
Biding my time to bring her into my sight...
The truest, most beautiful statement I could possibly make
Is my love and longing for her none could ever shake.
A/N: This is a Sonnet written in Shakesperian format that I wrote my fiance for Valentines day, sent to her, and proposed that night. Obviously she said yes, ^^. I would like to know what you all think. Thank you!
