The Captain, Dymyr, and the vice which is myself have the final hearsay on who gets promoted
(since we're the only two who can actually promote)
But we listen to the crew's nominees as well
(we're not that closed minded)
But people are generally chosen based on activity, helpfulness, (apparently crazyness as well =] ) and so on.
You just have to "stand out" so to speak from the rest.
...and trust me, joey, conner and them all definately stand out xD

it was not a stunt. all the other guilds were doing it because they can sending out announcements. every guild i was in did the same thing. "banning" is the only option. there is no remove or make inactive or whatever. being banned does not necessarily mean you are banned. i hate that! they (gaia) should have done that differently!
