Okay so people, what is gonna happen with the gold and silver remakes! at this rate i don't think people are gonna ever see them come out. But since The johto starters are going to be seen in the 12th movie that's evidence that they might be planning something. What do you think?

they should remake em. and they should collect data in our games of those and transfer it so we can play gsc on ds. i misses me gold version :'(

I personally think they should stop
remaking.
I like old type games. ._.
The FireRed & LeafGreen were boring.
I bet I'll probably find these remakes boring
too.
That's if we see them.

That's if we see them. but the classics are awesome and the games themselves are starting to die out and become more and more outdated, im sure that when they remake g/s theyll include some of crystals features like the kanto region and that would pown biggrin

Perhaps they should consider doing a compilation game for the next one, putting Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto into a single game. I mean think about it...32 badges and possibly up to three of the last section (because Kanto and Johto share).
Dude, I would so totally buy that game. Also, add the ability to actually choose what type of person you are from the beginning as opposed to the seemingly random four choices you get. Although Rich Boy is cool, I'd like to at least have the option of something other than Ruin Maniac, Black Belt, Rich Boy, or Psychic, you know?
Maybe expand the move sets a bit, allowing for up to six moves or something. That would be awesome.
So yeah, I'd love to see Gold, Silver, and Crystal remade, but the above would include those as well as other awesome titles. GSC was my favorite generation up until D/P/Pt...

Oh, I would absolutely love that!!!!!!!!! I had Gold one time, but my friend, who was the one who gave it to me, wanted it back!!!!!!!!! So I only had Pokemon Gold Version for a short time!!!!!!! I would llike to play that cool game again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

Gamestop probably still carries GBAs. If not, I'd check on EBay. Either way, yeah, I definitely would love to replay all of the old games. Just one problem: the batteries die on Gold and Silver...so you need to buy new ones if you want to play them all over again. crying Those were my favorite games before this current generation...

They should make them because if you want to get the starters from jotho you need to get them in Fr/Lg and/or emerald (In the legal way) and that's a lot of work emo

Typhlosion is work well worth it. Feraligatr is also pretty good. Unfortunately, I have about as much love for Meganium as I do for Blastoise. I wish they'd just re-release everything all together in one nice package, without a second game to trade to...because I'm sick and tired of not getting the one with Growlithe in it.
As you guys can probably tell, I'm a pretty big fan of fire types.

I actually heard something about them being called dusk gold and dawn silver~ Since apparently they copyrighted those names, of course, it may not be true. (And I actually heard this stuff earlier today, so my memory may actually be a bit screwy)
Anyway.
All I know is that'd be awesome. Gold was like, my favorite game!! >w<;;
And what Nellander said would totally be awesome. (About the possibility to go to each region) I'd buy that game in literally a heartbeat!!
