Kiyoshi couldn't help but give a little giggle at that, "Must be tough." He said, not exactly sure what refined people were like but... he would guess that Kabocha was a refined sort. Maybe refined people were ones that wore nice clothing and liked art? It sounded about right.
He looked over to where his Daddy and Dad were, "They are gathering their supplies." He explained, "Inks in the right colors that they will need, some clean cloths for wiping away excess inks, and the tattoo needle." He explained with a smile, "Will you be here long enough to watch them work?"

Kabocha smiled wryly. "Yeah... but they're family." And his dad bought him nice clothes, so it was worth it, he supposed. He watched the two men get ready. "Oh..." So they were getting ready to do some of their art? How cool! "Uh... I don't know." He'd like to stay, but the fact that he was still small and at the whim of his father's schedule wasn't a foreign concept to him either. "I hope!"

Kiyoshi hoped up to his feet and turned toward the door when he heard ring of the bell that was above the door... and was pleased to see the one coming through wasn't Kabocha's parents. Instead it was Charm, the man that they had been expecting. The man was a giant of a man that was about the same height as his Daddy but seemed to be almost as wide as he was tall. His thick beard was in twin braids today and fell down to mid chest, lots of tattoos that seemed to cover most of his visible skin, and a thick bullring in his nose. He also had a set of twisted horns that rose from his mess hair making him look somewhat demonic.
The milk pocky boy motioned to him, "That's Charm, hes the one here to get the work done on his back piece." He explained to Kabocha then gave a bit of a shake of his head as he added in a whisper, "He's... a bit of a dork, don't believe most of what he says."
Charm was always claiming that when Kiyoshi grew that he was going to steal Kiyoshi away to be his bride... and some days he said the same thing about Fenrir... even Baldric and Hari and random customers weren't safe from his teasing. He was a scary looking man so Kiyoshi had decided it was because of that reason that he hadn't found a bride yet that he didn't have to steal away.
Charm looked down at the boys as he walked by them, giving a wink before he continued to where Baldric and Hari were waiting, "How are my favorite group of pretties doing today?" He asked in his gruff voice.
Hari gave him a look, "Well enough, lets get your work underway so you can get lost." He said with a to sweet smile.

Kabocha turned to see who had come in and let out a tiny squeak when he saw the man. This guy was HUGE. On top of that... he looked rather scary... The boy was staring rather intently at Charm and jumped a bit when Kiyoshi started talking. A dork? This guy?
The pumpkin boy just watched the man as he walked past them and over to where the two men were set up for him. Curiousity and fear fought over whether Kabocha should run or get closer.

Kiyoshi pushed up to his feet and made a motion, "Come on, we can crawl up onto the counter and take a look." He told his friend taking a few steps that way.
Charm looked over at the two and gave a grin that was actually seen since his beard was braided today which made it so one could see his expressions instead of having them hidden behind hair, "How is my darling Bride today?" He asked of Kiyoshi.
The white haired boy crawled up onto the counter, ignoring Charm and instead turned his attention to his friend and he held a hand out to him, offering him help up onto the counter.
Charm gave a little pout before he shrugged out of the leather vest he was wearing and set to gathering his long, bushy hair up into a bun on his head and tied it there, revealing the massive back piece that was only half done at the moment. It was being done slowly piece by piece, color by color. To much at once time would be to hard on the body even a tough body like Charm's, "So what are we doing today?" He asked as he sat down in the chair that was waiting for him, leaving his back exposed.
Baldric reached his hand out to trace one of the areas, "Right here, we are going see about getting this section done." He told the man.

Kabocha stood and followed his friend, careful to not get too close to this weird guy. The pumpkin boy gladly took Kiyoshi's hand to get helped onto the counter. He turned and gave a bit of a start when he saw what was being worked on. This man... had pictures on his skin. Weird...
Once he got over the initial shock of it, he could tell that the piece was a work of art, even unfinished. "Whoa..." he whispered, peering over at the man's back. He looked up at Baldric, approvingly. This man was good.

Baldric took his seat behind Charm and set to work on the section of the tattoo that he had pointed out that he was going to work on. It was a slow going process one could tell from how slowly his needle moved over the other man's skin. He looked quite serious as he worked and Charm just looked as though he were lounging despite what was being done to his back. He had a good tolerance for pain from the looks of... all of him.
Kiyoshi was sitting cross legged, arms resting on his legs before he looked over at Kabocha, "He did a lot of the tattoos on my Dad too." He said, motioning to Hari who was sitting off to the side watching, "And vise versa Dad did a lot of Daddy's tattoos."
Fenrir hopped up onto the counter and sat down on the other side of Kabocha and her tail set to wagging, "Man... I want a tattoo someday." She murmured. Not long a go she didn't want anything to do with them but the more she watched the amazing creations her Daddy and Dad created the more she started to want one herself.

The pumpkin boy watched for a while in silence. It was amazing to see the artwork appearing on the man's skin. Finally, he asked Kiyoshi a question. "Doesn't that hurt?" After all, Baldric was holding what appeared to be a large fancy needle thing. And he kept jabbing it into the man's skin.
"You do?" Kabocha looked at Fenrir, grinning a bit. "What will you get?"

Charm gave a little chuckle, "Naw, not to much. Just a little pressure." He told the pumpkin boy. He didn't show any hint of pain in his tone of voice or his eyes. He was so used to getting work done that he didn't even blink anymore.
Baldev starred down at Charm for a moment before he lifted his needle, looking over at Kabocha, "Its different for everyone since everyone has a different threshold for pain." He didn't want the boy to think it was nothing at all and then end up in pain because he tried to get a tattoo and wasn't ready for it.
Fenrir's tail set to wagging wildly, "I don't know yet... so many pretty things that I could get done." She said, ears turning forward, "Can't say I could say what I would want done without looking through all the books again."

Kabocha thought over what both men said for a bit. Threshold for pain? He'd have to figure out what that meant later for he'd spotted his guardian and brother approaching the store once more, this time with bags marked with the logo from the shop where he'd managed to convince the pathetic man that he'd needed clothing from. He needed proper clothing. So did the man and that excuse for a brother he had, but he was working on that.
The pumpkin boy smiled at everyone. "I believe it's time for me to leave. Thank you all for letting me watch and look at the books. I enjoyed it very much." He scooted himself to the edge of the counter where he slid off. Turning, he waved to the milk pocky boy.

Kiyoshi watched for only a moment more knowing that it was something he could see any day before he hopped down and turned to Kabocha, "It was nice to meet you." He told the other boy, smiling at him brightly, "I hope to talk with you again."
It had been a lot of fun meeting the other boy and hanging out with him for a while he thought, leaning against the counter he started to wave as the other readied himself to leave. There were more waves from the others in the shop, an enthusiastic one from Fenrir and quick ones from those working on the tattoo and getting the tattoo.

"Me too," Kabocha agreed with his new friend, waving to everyone once more as Talner walked into the shop. Grinning, the boy headed towards his guardian, who glanced about quickly before turning to leave. What had made the boy want to go in there, he had no idea.
