The Astronomy Tower

Every Sunday the Astronomy club gets up extra early, so they can play 'Who left their underwear in the tower last night?' The money they got from all the blackmail got the club those spiffy new telescopes!

The door to the astronomy tower creaked open slightly, and a large grey cat with sharp orange eyes slunk out from behind it, scouting the area to make sure there was no one about. There was no class at this time, of course, and it appeared that people didn't sneak off here to snog in the daylight.

A white cat followed, walking quickly over towards the wall and hopping up on the ledge, looking down. There seemed to be a fair amount of people walking around outside. His tail twitched as if he were stalking prey and he lifted up a dainty paw and began to lick it.

Justus transformed on the far side of the astronomy tower, where he'd be least likely to be seen from any other tower, and by anyone below.
"Ssst! Dev, get off the ledge, idiot!"
He shook his head at his friend, who was easily seen even from the ground, and took out his wand. He carefully weaved an illusion that would hide the both of them, making the tower look empty even though they'd be standing in plain sight.

Devlin turned his head to look at Justus, and then lept down from his perch. He walked along the curved wall, rubbing his tail against it as he made his way into equipment that had been left on the tower. After a few moments of searching, he found what he wanted, leaping out from between the telescope polls with a ball of scrunched up paper in his mouth, bringing it over by Justus.
He transformed as soon as Justus was done with his spell, paper ball still in his mouth.
"Ptleh.." He spit it out into his hand and then uncrumpled it, smoothing it in his hand. Seemed like just an assignment someone had started over. It'd do.
He sat down and started to rip it up into little pieces, until he had a small pile of them. He then took out his wand and transfigured all the little bits of paper in small groups into foot long carp.
Which immediately began to gasp for breath and flop around on the tower, one hitting Devlin in the face.

Justus grabbed the offending carp by the gills and swung back his arm, before throwing it forward and releasing. The fish sailed away, flipping and gasping in air, before it made its descent. It didn't land near anyone, but on the grass. Undeterred, Justus grabbed another and flung that one as well.
Hearing a startled scream from below, he grinned, and picked up one in each hand.

Devlin rubbed his nose for a moment, before grabbing two fish of his own and throwing them off the edge of the tower. He had good precision, and tried not to purposefully hit anyone with them, but just to freak them out with flying falling fish.
He laughed as the fish landed in the middle of a group, who scattered, and looked all around and up to see where it had come from, but saw no one.
He and Justus both grinned and laughed as they continued to throw fish off the tower, Devlin even transfiguring a few fish's fins into wings so they started to fly around, most ending up flying down into the lake. He wasn't worried, because they'd turn back into paper in a short while..
And then Justus hit him in the shoulder with a fish.

Justus and Devlin fought with their respective fish, both ending up rather covered in slime and smelly.
By the time they were done, both boys were out of breath but had wide grins on their faces.
Justus flung his last fish, hearing another startled noise from someone who obviously thought the fish assault was over.
"We'd better get out of here before a teacher comes up to investigate."
Since they were both sitting, Justus took down the illusion, and then turned into a cat.
His cat form was wet with fish slime, and he licked his lips, sniffing the air.

Devlin threw his last fish carelessly over the edge of the tower, but instead of turning into a cat right away, he scooped up a startled Justus and cuddled him.
"Ooooh, who's a pretty witty kitty? You are! You are!"
He was mocking him, obviously, and quickly put Justus down when the cat's claws came out.
In an instant, there were two cats on the tower instead of two boys.

Justus pounced Devlin, pinning the slightly smaller cat down and nipping at his shoulders and neck.
Devlin fought back, kicking him with his hind feet and trying to grab his furry head between his paws so he could bring it down and bite on his ear.
After a minute Justus let go of him, and both cats seperated and sat across from each other, staring. Justus flicked his tail in apparent agitation, his eyes narrowed.

The white cat suddenly jumped three feet up into the air as if something had terrified him, and took off like a shot through the astronomy door as soon as he landed, appearing quite manic.

The grey cat startled as well, his fur going on end, backing up as the white cat suddenly jumped, and then he shook himself before taking off like a shot after him.
