My boyfriend talks in his sleep. A lot. One night he was sleeping and he said "Julia, I miss you." and i fell back asleep but at the same time i got a tight cringe. Then another night he whispered "Julia" pretty much in my ear (we were cuddled up in bed and he was asleep). He normally has no recollection of his dreams or what he's said in his sleep. It sort of hurt my feelings because, i mean, who the hell is Julia? I don't know any Julia and he's my boyfriend. I talked to his friend about it and he said it that it is probably from a movie. Except, [his name] doesn't watch movies a whole lot and he's said this specific girl's name on two seperate occasions. Should I talk to him about it because it hurt my feelings a little and it's driving me crazy trying to figure out who Julia is. I'm worried he might react angrily or get embarassed. I mean she could be some dead girlfriend for all i know. Should I say something about it to him? If so, how exactly? Should I give it a rest and just accept that he's mine and I shouldn't have to worry about some stupid girl named Julia

well, if you're with him then you have a right to know, but this is coming from his dreams. it might not even be a real person. so if you ask him it's possible he might not even know how to answer you. but all in all it's worth giving a shot. as to the how, just ask out of the blue during a silent moment. "who's Julia?" He might go "What?" and if not then rest will carry itself "you keep on talking in your sleep about some one named Julia." and he might tell you a story or insist that he doesn't know what you're talking about or something else might happen

Just ask it casually. Dont act suspicious or anything, just ask "So whos this Julia you're always talking about in your sleep?" Or something along those lines. Hes YOUR boyfriend, you do have a right to know, so if none of his friends know anything about it, confront him yourself.
