Dont_Fear_the_Reefer Archon of Aegis Dont_Fear_the_Reefer I couldn't stop laughing and clapping. This episode of Raw gave me everything I could have hoped for. Edge and Cena will fight atr Wrestlemania, which would be awesome seeing how they have such good in-ring chemistry, and Randy got to soccer-punt Shane AND RKO Stephanie... And like I was hoping, he's going to be switching brands to face Trips for the title. To be honest, I may just buy this Wrestlemania. Definitely the best writing they've done in some time. As for the Taker streak thing though, they've had quite a few storylines about ending the streak, but hopefully they'll do a better job than in the past. I'm psyched for WM. I'm actually hoping JBL gets the match. Not only do I like him more, but he actually has a pretty storied history with Taker. There'd be actual depth to the storyline, whereas Taker vs. HBK would basically be "Guy everyone loves vs. guy who everyone loves." Which, as you know damn well, normally ends up in a brief tag title run. HBK has a way more storied history with Taker, it's just not as recent as JBLs. If you watch the history of the deadman DVD a good fourth or so of the matches are heavy storyline matches between them. Anyways IMHO they don't have enough time to do a good storyline for whoever gets the match. They'll rush the whole thing and no one will end up caring.

Assuming the WWE doesnt do something stupid and we do see Taker vs HBK we could be looking at match of the year. Both are great talents and had excellent chemistry in the past rivalries. I am predicting JBL will interefer in that match possibly but if not it really could be a toss up for who would win. Obviously Id love to see Shawn win and when it comes to in ring ability Shawn has Taker beat but odds are Taker will win cuz of his popularity. He almost has that Hulk Hogan, "I can pick and choose my loses" ability within the company. It almost feels that way. However regardless of the winner its sure to be an instant classic.

I know they were supposed to do something like that with HBK, but feuding with Kane instead, for the right to face Taker at 'Mania. IF they just decided to replace Kane by JBL in that storyline, then it might be Taker's retirement match.

Nope, JBL doesn't really put on a good match as for HBK, he is ******** good so it makes sense to have HBK vs Undertaker, it's pretty much a showstopper Agreed. Taker/JBL would be a borefest and JBL's been mediocre in the ring with his weak back.
HBK/Taker also has quite a history dating back to '97. Also HBK/Taker one more time seems epic enough.
HBK is the showstopper afterall.
