When you first started watching Naruto, before episode 21, did you think that you wouldn't be able to get into the show because there were no characters that really stood out for you? No one you really loved?
I remember when I first started watching the show, I thought that everyone was an okay character but none of the characters really stood out as someone I'd really love. I thought that Naruto wasn't going to become one of my favorite shows, that is, until episode 21. After that episode, and the following one, I felt that the show had just become a hell of a lot more interesting.
Discuss: How you felt about Naruto before the first Lee episode, then how you felt afterwards.

Before ep. 21, I didn't think the show was all that great, but now I love the show, and I'm a total Narutard! xD

I was always in it for the action. I did not really like any of the characters at first... (I think my fave back then was.... *DUN DUN DUUUN* Kakashi. XDDDD
But I know for sure I have always hated Sasgay. :3)
Well, of course I was impressed by episode 22. I was like, "Duuude, who IS this guy?" But it was somehow not love at first sight. XD (How? IDK how I was dumb back then XDDDDD)
All I know is I became a rabid fangirl by episode 50, but not as rabid as now, because I nearly cried, but I did not get the urge to kill myself like I do now. XD (No, seriously. o.o)
And then it took me a while to figure out he was cute (once again, no idea how I was so dumb XD) So now I am? XD

You're not dumb, SDRL, I remember thinking that Lee was a little odd looking myself when I first saw him (he doesn't have the typical anime eyes for one thing). I will say though, I never really understood Sakura's first reaction to him though. Remember that? And then she totally freaked out when he winked the cute little hearts at her! What was up with that?

heh. i actually didnt like watching naruto attal because i thought it was stupid. one day i was bored as alot watching cartoon network and naruto happened to be on. it was the 1st one where Lee and Guy show up and i was laughing my butt almost off the couch mrgreen those 2 were definately the most interesting. it was after htat one i started trying to watch more naruto and ended up doing it online. YAYE LEE-KUN AND GUY!!!!

My friend had gone many years without this upbeat show in her life and I finally convinced her to watch it and she's been keeping up (I think she's up to 100 now) and she says her favorite character is Saucegay *facepalm*
