Being a hostage may sound boring, but they have a daily routine, plus they occasionally get an interview with Kameo. Hostages get to visit the bathing facilities while accompanied by a guard. Whenever they leave their rooms they are accompanied by a guard. Usually they will have a guard assigned to them that will be the same one that accompanies them each trip. They do not get contact with other hostages, but occasionally they might get to meet busy-bodies milling in the halls during random trips, or in the bathing facilities. You don't get weapons, but retain any natural powers you were born with.

Reason for being a hostage: Defied Kameo and killed one of his guards
Background: Samrika lived in the forests along with her animal companions. She doesn't know her parents at all, having been raised by a female wolf. In a way, she'd be told as a savage. Her speech isn't well and most the time it's not easy to understand her if at all.

Reason for being a hostage: Opposed Kameo's rule. He put together an army in hopes of stopping Kameo. He was defeated along with his army and taken captive
Background: Lyman grew up with Kameo. They're second cousins, and they were best friends all throughout their childhood and young adulthood. Once they graduated from highschool, Lyman and Kameo went their own ways. Because of their past friendship, and feelings that Kameo holds for Lyman, he was only taken as a hostage, rather than killed.

Reason For Being a Hostage: August was hired as an assassin and spy by Kameo's guard captain. After being betrayed she was forced into battle infront of Kameo with his guards, and after him seeing her....'gift' she is now not only his hostage, but his pet.

Background: August always seemed to be the trouble maker, even when she was little. When she was younger she pissed an old witch off, causing her to curse the young child to forever know the pain every animal faces, after she'd hung a dead rabbit on her front porch then stabbed several creek frogs, pinning them to her front door as well. During certain parts of the month she cannot control what animal she turns into or keep her humanity.
