So I want to be a fashion designer in the future~ I'm really interested in Lolita/Visual Kei and such~ And I've noticed that things in Lolita look a loooot like victorian gothic dresses and such~ As a fine example, the way Malice Mizer dressed, back in 1992-2005:

Of course, I'm only using the Victorian Era as an example~ There's also a lot of French Revolution resemblance too~

But the man reason I wanted to make this post was for Japanese Fashion's sake. Does anyone her ehave the interest in Japanese Fasion, as I do? This is prettymuch my first time posting here, so I apologize profusely if someone's made a post like this already~

Actually, Lolita is Rococo/Baroque. Gothic Lolita is Victorian, but the addition of Visual Kei makes it Gothic Aristocrat. But, yeah, that pic is definitely in the great style of Japanese Street Fashion.
I have an interest in ... some Japanese Fashion. Some of them I loathe, but most I love. I love all the Lolita styles, esp. Hime, Qi, Sweet, and Classic. Decora is awesome. My friends and I used to dress the same way as kids. But I hate Ganguro! It's like everything that I hate in fashion and life--fake blondes, fake tans, hookers, and jail-bait----is rolled into one big POS fashion. scream

Sorry..fell into a rant sweatdrop

I agree fully with what Girlie Hero said, right down to the Ganguro. Haha. The Lolita styles and whatnot are quite fun to draw, too.

Sorry, I never have something interesting or informative to say. XP

There's also Steam Punk that I really like. It's Victorian based. I don't know if it's a Japanese Fashion though. I only see it in the Americas and alittle in Europe.

I love Japanese street fashion. As my siggy says, I'm into Lolita. I love Decora, but can't pull it off. xD
