Sojo's Disappearance•••

Sun shinned through opened panel windows and life went on normally for every individual in the town of Aimes. Hymn felt no disturbance in the air, nor any peculiar sign of trouble as he went about his early market trip. Picking from stalls signs of wealthy fruit and vegetables he shopped for a weeks list of meals to provide Sojo and himself with the nourishment they needed.

Pulling from his pocket a wrinkled piece of paper with a scratched list of groceries the dust looked around and faded into a flock of busy shoppers as he continued to hunt down the list of items. Since their moving the dust had found himself finding new ways to shop and become involved in the city however that didn't last very long.

Not too long ago Hymn had found himself moving again with Sojo to a small apartment that seemed to be dominated by the formers belongings. Hymn had thought it odd at first but slowly he had become accustomed to living with his vision.

His guardian had become so wrapped up in his work that it wasn't uncommon for the dust to go without seeing him for a day. Sighing he shrugged off the thought and returned to shopping, he only had to find the fruit stand before he could find his way home again.

His apartment rested on the corner of two streets, snug above an old coffee that had sense been renovated for the means of accompanying more individuals. As his feet crossed familiar street stones the dust stopped and eyed the suspicious apartment. He felt secure and happy in a place, for his view on the fourth floor overlooked that of a peaceful luscious park-scape. Nodding his head his head turned and scanned the road before his feet allowed him to cross.

Reaching into his pockets the dust unlocked the door that let him into the complex in order to get to his new abode. With a sign he made his way up the staircase before taking the elevator three floors up to his own place. Using the key by the elevator doors he unlocked it and made his way inside.

Bags of groceries toppled on to the counter tops and a loud yawn expanded from the worn dusts mouth. His place had remained just as he had left it, even with the windows wide open. Looking around he began reminiscing again as he cleaned.

Hymn remembered the day Sojo had approached him and informed him that their short lease on the house was up. It had angered the dust at first- for he had just finished planting an expansive garden in the front yard as well as decorating his room. However, as time past Hymn came to terms and reluctantly packed up his belongings and shifted his way towards the new apartment.

Living so high hadn't been in his favor but he adjusted to the lifestyle of apartment living, and found it much more relaxing than caring for an entire house. With an entire balcony and expansive windows the dust found his commune with nature to be less smog filled here than in other places in the city.

However as they grew accustomed to the new lifestyle, Sojo had been taken to study and work more often than he ever had. When Hymn confronted him about it, Sojo just shrugged and said it was no bother and that he was happily making progress with his job...

Shaking his head the dust picked up a letter that had dropped on the floor and stared at it for a moment; it was addressed to him from Sojo. Pausing he took a breath and broke the seal. The letter was neatly written and folded inside the envelope. Hesitantly the dust began reading:

Quote:
Such is this, as it may be, that the eviction and my leave upon this planet is long overdue. Forgive me for such trespasses as my spirit wants nothing more than to hold you in sweet sorrow. My time has come to give my sincerity and good wishings as I do not know the truth about my return. As it may be I shall visit you much when time permits but my presentation has been called for and the pleasure of the gods is not as easy as one may hope to assume the acception of. Please harbor no such sorrow or hatred for I have left you with something new, find light in the darkness and betray yourself to no individual.

You were weak when I found you, now give birth to a stronger spirit and hold such closest to you in times of terrible fate. Forgive this late passing, for I hoped to one day do such face to face.

Sojo.

The letter stung and his soul boiled with ferocity beyond anything he had imagined. His guardian had abandoned him with out such as a hint of notice and he expected the dust to harbor no ill-feelings towards him. Relinquishing the letter to a cracking fireplace the dust withdrew from the envelope two new clips for his hair.

With a sneer he set them on the tabletop and walked out to the balcony.
"You had to leave me, did you? Without one word of warning- and you expect me to forgive you?" he growled, "You dumbass!" His eyes were boiling in rage as his first cuss-word escaped his lips. With a smile he laughed, it felt good.

Something about being angry felt good, however, the feeling of hatred did not. Taking a deep breath the dust retreated in doors and shut himself off from the world.

He needed time to think.
