Hello and welcome, all ye few but faithful, to the... first in a long while... NJT favorite character awards!! WOO!! YEA!! Of course we haven't done these in a while.... stare
surprised Anyways... I thought of running a poll, but there aren't enough of us to really bother and still... I want to know favorite Hero... and Favorite Villian... and Favorite Supporting Cast Member. Think of this as the Oscars for our story!! I'm going to put up several items that you are to include in your post, and then after everyone has posted their choices: we will tally the votes and see who the winner was. In the event of say... a tie in any category... we will hold a pole for the tied characters. Is all understood? Good! Good...
Here are our Categories!!!
Best Major Hero/Heroine: you can pick from such legendaries as... Dante Cross, Kai Cross, Triskal, Quixilver, Cole, Obi-wan Kenobi (though deceased... he died in the Anoat saga... which mean he's still eligible!!)... or any other you think I may have missed.
Best Major Villain/Villianess: pluck from the pool of darkness any of those who were great at doing great evil... these nasties are Darth Virtra, Darth Metus, Darth Vader, Nova Delara, Emperor Palpatine (though deceased)... or any other you may like and I may have missed.
Best Supporting Character: There are many who have come and gone, who still remain but do not yet stand on the front lines of changing galactic history (though many are trying to climb the ladder)... and there are those with great power who refused to use it to alter the galaxy. These are the supporters, the teachers... those who will go down in history as shaping the heroes or the darkness--who will win this years most inspiring secondary character. The group is large, including Darth Bicara, Mara Jade, Star Karilesi, Anthi, Kalaressh, San, Violente... ect ect ect...
Most Annoying Character: Those who deserve the Jar Jar Binks medal of idiocracy. These are the illiterates of the past, the morons of managerial mayhem... who will be the winner this year? Choose from such greats as Jesse, Sunfire... or any personal favorite you may have that I decided to ignore with remarkable passion.
Let us see your votes and feel free to post as much as you'd like about why you chose your character. It's the Oscars ladies and gents!!

Best Major Hero/Heroine: Hands down Triskal wins the award... b***h is a badass of awesome proportions! mrgreen
Best Major Villain/Villianess: Now I will not deny being biased at all... but I love Darth Virtra with a passion that is rather unhealthy. She's my very favorite villianess of all time and literature... that's how much I like this character. I know that she was created on a whim, but the depth and tenacity of this woman (especially that which was shown in the short story Julia wrote for the Anoat saga) just makes my skin tingle with excitement!
Best Supporting Character: I choose... San, because while she has not been given the chance to save the galaxy, I think she has the potential. Not to mention that she can be daring enough to like one of the Cross children... the girl has guts!
Most Annoying Character: I go with Sunfire... because I tried to teach him grammar... and it didn't work for anything but creating the most awesome migraine now known to man!

Oh wow, this is gonna be tough... sweatdrop Oh, and Cole isn't dead, Sarai, he's on the starship with Ciella and Kalia at the moment in our current story line...
Best Hero/heroine: I'd have to say...Dante. He had some really cool scenes to work through and liked watching the character change throughout the story.
Best Villain/Villainess: Metus has always intrigued me. We've never really seen him let loose but I've always wanted to. The fact that he's probably ten times more powerful than the one he usually serves has always interested me. Why not ever let him loose to just end things quick...it'd probably secure victory but nobody was ever smart enough to do it now he works for himself...Oops...smart move....
Best Supporting Character: Gonna have to choose Jaster for the simple reason that he rocked. Its inarguable.
Most annoying character: Haha...Honestly? My character Neth annoyed me a lot. I guess I just didn't know how to write him very well. Other than that, Jesse really got on my nerves...

Best Major Hero/Heroine: Triskal - come on! she gets tortured, she gets blinded, she gets the hell beaten out of her and she still gets up for more. she's the original mando-Jedi.
Best Major Villain/Villianess: Darth Vader, - the best strategist without super awesome never touchable power. he got himself into and out of any mess.
Best Supporting Character: Jaster Shysa - Died protecting Dante and tris from Vader, opened up Dante's force gates and turned him into who he is today... easily the best clone and my fave support... even if he is my own.
Most Annoying Character: Jesse - he seemed to have a personal grudge against me because he didn't understand the difference between rl and rp.

Right quick! My options are:
Best Major Hero/Heroine: Tough choice... I go with... Triskal, just because... yeah, she's not uber powerful and she's taken more damage than any other character... yet somehow she is still living.
Best Major Villain/Villianess: As good as Virtra is... and as powerful... I can never turn down Darth Vader. The man was the greatest Villian ever placed onto film and if IMDB's internet poll things that Voldemort can hold a candle to Vader? All I have to say to them is: Vader could break the snake-man's wand with a freaking breath from that awesome respirator!
Best Supporting Character: I don't care if it's voting for myself, and though I may be voting because of more information inside of my head than actually typed out, but Bicara is my favorite. I like villians though.
Most Annoying Character: I don't know any of the choices though I must say that Maamaw? Whoever that Ithorian was... she did tend to annoy me when I read posts written by her.
