I was thinking earlier today and thought maybe we should have a thread about being thankful, and how much the Lord has blest in your life or in the lives of others..Also if you have a favorite verse dealing with being thankful please post them along with your post.

Guess I'll be the first to post in here, I'm thankful for my family and for my friends, for it they werent around I doubt I would be also, I know that we need to rely on the Lord but I also feel that the Lord has given us friends to be there as a support group. As for the verse of being thankful i have chosen...Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

i'm thankful for friends & family as well. my biggest thanks & praise to the Lord is because he blessed me with my baby girl. 3nodding

I am thankful for my family. I dont really have very many friends....I stay to myself and family....my favorite quote is
Work like you dont need the money, love like youve never been hurt, and dance like noone is watching...that is how I live my life..one day at a time.

I'm thankful for my family and friends, without them I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm also thankful for God allowing me the opportunity to attend a christian college, I'm the first one-ever in all of my family. I'm also thankful for how well the Lord has provided for my family, there have been hard times, but they always end. Psalm 27.

Yes there's all kinds of things we can be thankful for..most of all we should be thankful for what the Lord has done for us, for without Him there's no hope for eternity..John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thank the Lord for providing the things we needed in life, for without Him in our lives, there's nothing to live for...just look at those around you without the Lord in their lives how unhappy they are.

i'm thankful to the Lord for helping through tough things that have been happening/going on with me! and i'm thankful that i'm getting helped with it.....

Well I'm thankful that I didn't have to have surgery and that my doctor's was able to determine what was causing my pain..
