Cosmic Era: 71; The war between the Earth Alliance and the Plants has escalated to unforeseen proportions, and is continuing to grow in its intensity, as both Natural (unmodified humans) and Coordinator (genetically modified) extremists begin to take control of both sides of the war.
Early in the war, the Alliance forces had been completely outmatched by ZAFT's (the PLANT Military) revolutionary new Mobile Suit weapons, and the war became a mass of casualties, with ZAFT's superior technology fighting the superior numbers of the Earth Forces to a stand still. Eventually, the Alliance succeeded in developing its own new Mobile Suit weapons at the Heliopolis colony. Though ZAFT manages to steal most of these weapons, One manages to get through their hands, and its data soon reaches the Earth Forces, and eventually begin to develop their own new mass produced Mobile Suits, and finally find themselves capable of fighting ZAFT on even footing. As the scope of the war increases, both sides begin to become more aggressive in their attacks and in the development of new weaponry, and their eyes are beginning to fall on the Neutral nation of ORB as well.
It is time to enter a story of that war, a story of the young men and women who are forced into the conflict whether they be Natural or Coordinator, soldier or civilian, volunteer or mercenary. As these young people are rushed into battle, what is going through their minds? And what will the outcome of the conflict be? Will the two sides come to terms with each other? Or will the world burn from the conflict?

Rules:
1. Please follow the Gaia TOS and all of the Guild Rules as well! I will be checking.
2. No godmodding. It's going to be a bit hard for this one, but I know that you can do it, and I will be checking to make sure you do!
3. No killing other people's characters without permission.
4. All PM's must be sent to me and must be entitled "Cosmic Era."
5. All canon (characters from the original Gundam SEED) will appear as guest characters, should they make an appearance at all. If a scene comes up where a canon character appears, it will be controlled by myself, or if you are interested in playing that role you can PM me an RP sample to see how well you handle that character, and I will give it my scrutiny and get back to you on it.
6. No killing (player) characters without permission from the character user.
7. I reserve the right to add or change existing rules as I see fit for control purposes.
