Bio: A noble of the Queendom's court, Alto grew up as any privileged nobleman's child would. He had the best education provided, and was being groomed to be the perfect heir to the Runeius estate. His father and mother mingled at the palace a lot and as a result, Alto grew up close to the princess. And though the princess was able to strong arm him into submission and beat him up many times, they still became very good friends. It was a humbling childhood for Alto.
Reason for murder: In a political move to get control over the throne, members of the Runeius family ushered their only heir to get close to the princess. As a result, Alto grew up as a childhood friend to the princess, just as the family predicted. However, before the ball, suspicion rose high that the two were not as close as desired. To prevent the ceremony and give the heir more time to bond, Alto was instructed that he was to administer a tonic to the princess. He was told that this was only an antidote and a normal measure taken to prevent any attempts of poisoning through the princesses' food. To not alarm his friend, he was further instructed to never speak a word of it. Feeling it was a thoughtful gesture, Alto did as he was instructed. But instead of heeding their warning about never speaking a word, Alto openly spoke to the princess of the matter asking her to take the medicine. But the so called 'antidote' was a poison. It was to be a weak serum, enough to make the princess ill and call off the ceremony, but it ended up proving too much and killing her.
