Nalfein: W-what does love smell like?

Iggy: *Looks over at Nalfein, flicks an ear and watches him.*

Nalfein: *Sulks, spots Iggy, and smiles a little*

Iggy: *Lifts a paw and waves in greeting*

Nalfein: *Tentatively waves back* H-hello.

Iggy: Allo *Tilts head* How are yah tuday?

Nalfein: *Stutters* I'm.....I'm...okay. I suppose.

Iggy: Why are yah talkin' like tha'?

Nalfein: Talking like w-what? I'm not talking like anything......t-this is just the talk I always way. oO

Iggy: Yah seem like yer stutterin' mor'... *Shrugs* Could jus' be me

Nalfein: Well...........there are more girls around than normal. Yeah......

Iggy: *Looks around, blinks* I hadn' noticed...wundar why

Nalfein: I think it has something to do with all the hearts and stuff going around.

Iggy: I heard aboot tha'. Som' holaday?

Nalfein: Yeah......with pink and hearts and flowers and candy. Sounds kind of....nice, actually.

Iggy: Will yah be enjoyin' it w'h som'one?

Nalfein: Enjoying it? How? oO

Iggy: Wi'h ah lovur

Nalfein: A.......what? oO

Iggy: *Tilts her head as figures a different way to put it* Ah mate

Nalfein: Oh, a mate........a girl. *Uber-fidget* I.......don't have a girl. Not like that. I...I might have once, but she's been gone a long time.

Iggy: *Frowns in sympathy* Yah lost ah mate?

Nalfein: Well.....not exactly. She wasn't a mate, just a real good friend.......but she hasn't been seen in a long time.....

Iggy: Has she moved on tuh anot'er aria?

Nalfein: *Shrugs* I dunno. She just.....disappeared. sad

Iggy: I am sorry

Nalfein: *Shrugs* Well.....wasn't meant to be I guess......and she'd been the only girl I wasn't scared of.

Iggy: *Raises a brow* Yah still scar'd of me?

Nalfein: *Opens his mouth once, then closes it* Well.....I....uhhh.....kinda-sorta maybe?

Iggy: Why? Have I dun som't'ing thretenin'?

Nalfein: I don't know.......girls just scare me. oO

Iggy: ...T'en don' t'ink of me as a gurl

Nalfein: But.....you ARE a girl.

Iggy: Noh *Grins* I'm an Iggy

Nalfein: Iggy's yer name, and yer a girl.

Iggy: Noh, Iggy is wha' I am. Teh fact tha' I'm a gurl comes thrurd

Nalfein: Well.....whatever. At any rate, you're a little scary, no offense.

Iggy: *Shrugs, then sighs in defeat* Oh well, I tried *Shifts as she plops down*

Nalfein: *Ears lower and mumbles* Sorry...... *Shoulders droop* I miss Nessarose..... ;_;

Iggy: She teh friend yah were talkin' aboot?

Nalfein: *Mumbles* Yeah.....you know, maybe the reason she didn't scare me was 'cause she was as scared of everyone as I was.....

Iggy: *Ears perk as she tries to listen in on the mumbling.* She was scared of everione?

Nalfein: *Nods* She was small and dainty, and so afraid. She never spoke; she always wrote in the dirt. I thought......I thought we might have done well together. Then she.....was gone.

Iggy: Have yah looked for her?

Nalfein: Yeah.....I mean, we share the same taste for hiding spots, but I haven't seen her there, and I haven't seen her out in the open either.

Iggy: ... *Wonders if she's dead*

Nalfein: *Sighs and looks back up* Sorry.....I know you wanna help, but...I just.......s-sorry. *Grits his teeth and dashes off*

Iggy: *Shoved out, her fur matted with mud as she doesn't look to happy*

Nalfein: *Spots Iggy and stares*

Iggy: *Feels someone's stare, looks around to see find the source while scowling. Blinks when she sees that it's Nalfein. The scowl disappears and she looks thoughtful, lifts a muddy paw and waves*

Nalfein: *Walks over to Iggy and stops about a foot away from her* What happened? Why are you all muddy?

Iggy: *Looks down at herself then back up at Nalfein like it should be obvious* Tuh snow wen' away

Nalfein: *Blinks* Oh..... *Hadn't really noticed* Well..... you can still go swimming, can't you?

Iggy: *Sulks* Tuh watar iz tu warm

Nalfein: Well.......what if you found some cold water? Like in the mountains?

Iggy: Thar are moutens? *Looks around*

Nalfein: Yeah. At least, I think so. Someplace. >.<

Iggy: I shall hav' tu look into tha'... *Flops to the ground and groans from the heat* How hav' yuh bin?

Nalfein: *Shrugs* Okay, I suppose. I haven't been out very much.

Iggy: Has i' bin tu hot fir yuh?

Nalfein: I don't think so...I think it's been just right for me.

Iggy: Yuhr lucki 'hen, I wish mai fir was as thin as yuhrs

Nalfein: I don't know; if I had thicker fur, maybe I wouldn't be as scared of gir-....people.

Iggy: How would t'hickar fir fix tha'?

Nalfein: Well, it protects you some, doesn't it? If I had thicker fur, I would have more courage.

Iggy: No' really. S'ill jus' fir. Shure i' protec's from tuh cold and stoff, bu' i's no' good armur or any'hing...

Nalfei: Oh. *Looks downcast* Well....it was a nice thought.

Iggy: Why don' yuh buy yuhfself some armur, li'e tuh knigh's use?

Nalfein: Armor? Where would I get armor from?

Iggy: I don' know, yuh could try askin' around

Nalfein: But....who would I ask?

Iggy: I don' know...any knigh's here?

Nalfein: Not that I've seen.

Iggy: Hmmm...why no' try makin' yuhrself some t'en?

Nalfein: What can I use for armor?

Iggy: Any'hing hard?

Nalfein: Hard, hmm......stone's hard. Some wood can be pretty hard....

Iggy: Stone can 'e pritti hefy, why no' try wood?

Nalfein: Okay! And I guess I'll need something sharp for cutting out the armor pieces.

Iggy: Yuh could ask yuhr human tuh lend yuh some'hing?

Nalfein: I think I could do that.....hey, maybe I can ask her for some ice to make really cold water with! You know...for....you.

Iggy: *Ears perk as she shoots up* Tuh humans hav' ice?

Nalfein: Yeah! My human puts it in her drinks all the time! ^^

Iggy: I di' no' know t'is *Looks around, bows her head* I would geartly appreshia'e i' if yuh could ge' me some ice

Nalfein: Really? 83 Wait here. *Dashes over to Raine* Ice. NOW.

Raine: Okay..... *Hands Nalfein a bag of ice*

Nalfein: *Takes the bag in his mouth and walks it back to Iggy* Gofts ife. ^^

Iggy: *Stares in awe at the ice, reaches out to put a paw on the bag and smiles* I's so cold *Looks around for some water to put the ice in*

Nalfein: There's a pond around here somewhere...... *Looks around*

Iggy: *Sniffs at the air, ears flicking as she searches her memory* T'is way *Starts to head in the direction of the pond, then stops* Would yuh lik' me tuh carry i'?

Nalfein: *Ducks his head down and burrows underneath the bag, then standing up with the bag on his back* I've got it. ^^

Iggy: *Looks him over to see if he needs help* Alrigh' *Begins to head towards the pond at a lumbering trot* T'is way

Nalfein: *Follows, teeth chattering a little* C-c-coming! XD

Iggy: Tu cold?

Nalfein: *Tries to grin* N-n-n-noooo. XD

Iggy: *Looks back at Nalfein, parts a bush to reveal the pond* We're here

Nalfein: Oh good! *Quickly drops the bag of ice* It was making me cold. XD So, I guess we just open the bag and drop the ice in?

Iggy: *Nods* 'hank yuh for carryin' i' *Uses a claw to cut a slit in the bag*

Nalfein: *Smiles happily at Iggy* You're welcome. *Peers into the water* Think it did the trick?

Iggy: Le' me check *Slips into the water* No' as cold as I'm used tu, bu' i's nice *Smiles up at Nalfein* 'hank yuh very much Nalfein

Nalfein: *Turns a little red* You're....welcome.

Iggy: *Scrubs off the mud* Tha's much bettur *Looks up at Nalfein* Yuhr welcome tu join me if yuh wan', though t'is migh' be a little cold for yuh

Nalfein: *Nods and climbs in* Yeep! That's really cold! XD

Iggy: *Chuckles and bobs over to circle him* Don' stay in i's tu cold for yuh. Don' wan' yuh gettin' sick now

Nalfein: Sick?

Iggy: *Nods* Yeah, I've heard some say tha' some ge' sick when t'ey ge' tu cold

Nalfein: Oh....I don't remember ever being sick.


Iggy: Really? *Looks over Nalfein wit interesting* Maybe yuh go' yuhrself a... *Tries to think of what it's called* Strong immewn system?

Nalfein: *Scratches his head with a paw* Could be....though I think I've heard people say my scarediness of girls is kind of like a sickness. sweatdrop

Iggy: I don' see how tha' could be a sickniss, yuh can no' pass i' on tu ot'ers, an' yuhr spendin' time wi'h me an' I'm a girl

Nalfein: I suppose not; my brother certainly doesn't have it, and I hang around with him the most. But......I don't think I'm anywhere near as frightened of you anymore.

Iggy: Well tha's good *Turns to float on her back* I'd be terrable if tuh only one who tal'ed tu me was scared of me

Nafein: How come nobody else talks to you?

Iggy: *Shrugs* I don' know *Grins* Maybe I scare t'em tuu?

Nalfein: *Chuckles* Well, you do look a little scary when you scowl.... *Flops onto his back like an otter*

Iggy: *Chuckles herself as she lazily floats* 'ere I though' bears were viewed as coddly

Nalfein: Well, what about grizzly bears? They aren't very cuddly.... oO

Iggy: *Lifts a paw and makes an absent minded gesture* I'm talkin' abou' t'ose teddy bear t'ings humans hav'

Nalfein: Oh those. Well, I think they like the softness as much as the shape. If it was soft and shaped like.....like a tick or something, someone would still probably hug it. XD

Iggy: *Shudders at the mention of ticks* Nasty littl' buggers

Nalfein: *Blinks and looks around*

Iggy: *Flopped in the shallow end of the pond, looking miserable due to the heat. Groans*

Nalfein: *Hears the groan, spots Iggy and dashes over* You okay? oO

Iggy: I's to hot *Shifts her head to looks up at Nalfein* How cen yah s'and i' wit' yer black fur?

Nalfein: *Scratches behind an ear* Well.....I do like to hang around in dark and shady places; maybe that's it. Maybe we ought to find you a dark and shady place, with a pool of water in it. ^^

Iggy: *Lifts her head and then rests it on his front paws* Do yah know w'ere one is?

Nalfein: *Ponders* Well......we could probably find one.

Iggy: W'ere 'ould we start?

Nalfein: Hmm......mountains. Yep; we need to find some mountains. *Looks around expectantly*

Iggy: Alrigh' *Lumbers out of the water and shakes herself off* Le's star' lookin' t'en

Nalfein: Okay. Uhm..... *Spots some rocky projections not far off* That way! We can follow a river so that you'll have some water to dunk in on the way. *Trots off*

Iggy: *Smiles, lumbers after Nalfein after stretching* Soonds like ah plan

Nalfein: *Reaches the foot of one of the mountains* That was.....fast. oO *Looks around for a river*

Iggy: Mus' ha'e been closer t'an we though' *Looks up at the mountains* No' of'en t'at I feel small

Nalfein: *Pauses in his searching to look up* Yeah......that's pretty big alright. oO *Gulps and turns back* Hey, I see a river! And look; there's a little cave! I bet we'll find a pool in there that branches off! C'mon! *Bounds toward it excitedly*

Iggy: Alrigh' *Casts one last glance at the mountain before lumbering after Nalfein* I sure hope so

Nalfein: *Vanishes into the cave without hesitation* It's a lot cooler in here, Iggy!

Iggy: *Sighs in relief as she enters the cave* No' wha' I'm used to, bu' i's much better. T'anks

Nalfein: *Looks around in the dark for a pool* Hey, I see one! It's further in! *Patters over to it and dips a paw in, then jumps back* Wow! That's cold! XP

Iggy: Cold yah say? *Lumbers over once her eyes have adjusted, sticks a paw in. Slips right in and sighs in relief* Much better!

Nalfein: *Beams and lays down beside the pool* I'm glad I could find it. ^^

Iggy: T'ank yah for helpin' me Nalfein *Rests her head by the shore and smiles at him*

Nalfein: *Is glad it's dark so that Iggy can't see him blush* You're welcome. >/////<

Iggy: So, how ha'e yah been?

Nalfein: Well.....I've been good, I suppose.....sort of. XP

Iggy: *Frowns* Sort of?

Nalfein: *Paws at the ground in front of him* Well......I guess I'm sort of...confused.

Iggy: Cunfused? Aboot wha'?

Nalfein: Well you see....I....I've been afraid of girls......a lot. There used to be one I wasn't, because she was more afraid of people than I was. I liked her, but.............she left. I'm not afraid of you either, even though I was, so........

Iggy: T'at could be becuus yah came to know t'at there's no reason to be scared of me.

Nalfein: Yeah I know, but.......I really liked Nessa, even though she left, and though it doesn't feel quite the same, I've never really did enough liking to know when I really am liking, but I......I think I like......you. >.<

Iggy: *Looks confused for a moment, and then it clicks* Ohhhhh *Blinks as she tries to think up what she's supposed to say*

Nalfein: *Hunches down in the dark* But like I said, I've hardly liked anyone, so I don't know if it really is liking or something else, but what else could it possibly be? *Whimpers a bit* It's so confusing....... -.-

Iggy: *Shifts before lumbering out of the water to take a seat beside Nalfein* Don' 'hink aboot i' t'en, le's jus' see how t'ings go

Nalfein: *Looks up as Iggy sits down beside him, not really minding the wet* Well, I want to try, but it's sort of.....nagging. Have you ever had a feeling that you can't name? And is that how you deal with it; by trying not to think about it?

Iggy: *Nods* Ah coople of times. *Flicks her ear* I kep' trying to figure ou' wha' 'hey were, bu' was gettin' no w'ere. So I stopped t'inking aboot i', and jus' le' t'ings take t'ere natural course

Nalfein: Okay, then I'll try it. *Chuckles* Does it sound completely wimpy or insulting that I....feel safe around you?

Iggy: *Blinks in surprise, then smiles* No, i' doesn' *Tilts her head* And I'm glad t'at yah do

Nalfein: Really? 'Cause it seems like a lot of females would rather have a strong boy than one......like me. XD

Iggy: Only tuh girls t'at wan' someone to take care of t'em *Turns her head to stare at Nalfein* Besides, yer cute

Nalfein: *Flushes* Am I really?

Iggy: *Nods* Wha? No on ever told yah before?

Nalfein: Well......to be honest, I haven't really give many the opportunity to say anything. ><

Iggy: No' even yer paren's?

Nalfein: *Ponders* Well....maybe my mother and father. ^^ I take after Dad in most of my coloring, and he's cute. XD *Blinks* oO People! They think he's cute. Not me, personally, thinking he's cute. sweatdrop

Iggy: *Laughs and then n***s Nalfein in a friendly manner*

Nalfein: *Turning red from his verbal stumbling* I must like you; I can't talk right. I heard that sometimes happens. >////<

Iggy: Hmm *Tilts her head as she looks Nalfein over in a thoughtful manner*

Nalfein: *Turns redder at Iggy's looking-over* What is it?

Iggy: *Leans over to nuzzle at his cheek in an experimental manner*

Nalfein: *Flinches a tiny bit, then tentatively nuzzles back* You have a....strong nuzzle. ^^

Iggy: T'at a bad t'ing?

Nalfein: *Shakes his head* No. Not as long as you don't mind a male who can't return it half as strong as that. X3

Iggy: Streng'h has not'ing to do wit' wha' attrac's me

Nalfein: Well, I guess that's good 'cause I don't think I have much of it. But.... *Smiles up at Iggy* I'm glad you don't mind being the stronger one.

Iggy: *Shrugs* Ii'll be tuh strong one if yuh'll be tuh soft one

Nalfein: Okay; how do I be the soft one? X3

Iggy: Yuh jus' stay tuh way yuh are

Nalfein: Really?.........I think I can do that. ^.^

Iggy: *Lets out a rumbling chuckle* Ii t'ink yuh can to

Nalfein: Heh. *Nuzzles clser to Iggy* ^^

Iggy: *Smiles and lightly returns the nuzzling while growling with approval*

Nalfein: *Blinks and looks up at Iggy* Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?

Iggy: *Blinks in surprise* No, why do yuh t'ink t'at?

Nalfein: Well, you sounded like you were growling. oO

Iggy: *Shifts awkwardly* Ii am ah bear, an' t'at's wha' we do. We growl, i' was a good growl t'ough

Nalfein: Ohhhh... *Tries to growl and ends up sounding like a cricket chirping in bass tones*

Iggy: *Lets out another rumbling chuckle before patting him on the back with a claw* Nice try t'ough

Nalfein: *Chuckles as he's patted* Well it WAS my first try. XD

Iggy: Yuh've never growled before t'is?

Nalfein: No.....I kind of focused on making as little noise as possible most of my life. XD

Iggy: Ii suppose Ii shood no' be surprised *Gently pokes him with a claw* If yuh work on i', Ii be' yuh have a loud growl somew'ere in t'ere

Nalfein: You think so? Well, how do I make my growl bigger?

Iggy: *Opens her mouth, then closes it again as she mulls that over* Yuh...yuh ha'e to work from tuh diaphragm

Nalfein: Diaphragm? Is that like my throat?

Iggy: I's some muscle er somet'ing in tuh stomach, i' helps to projec' one's voice

Nalfein: Oh. *Looks down at his front* Hmm....I wonder how I get it to work.

Iggy: Ii'm no' sure really, i's somet'ing t'at actors do

Nalfein: *Gasps in realization* Do singers use it too?

Iggy: *Tilts her head at the gasp, nods* Yes

Nalfein: *Explains, seeing Iggy's head tilt* The group of namrah I know have a few singers in it; I can ask one of them to help me learn to use the dia...thing

Iggy: *Nods* T'at sounds like a good idea

Nalfein: Hmm, who to ask......JoJo has the best voice, but he's really scary. oO Didd likes to sing, but she's a girl; would that make any difference?

Iggy: I don' t'ink so

Nalfein: *Smiles broadly* Then next time you see me, I'll have a better growl. ^^

Iggy: *Partially buried in some snow as she naps*

Nalfein: *Walking around, becoming dangerously close to accidentally stepping on Iggy*

Iggy: *Flicks an ear at the sound of foot steps in the snow. Lifts her head and lets out a loud yawn that sounds like a low roar*

Nalfein: Whoa! oO *Rears up at the yawn/roar and falls on his back in the snow*

Iggy: *Blinks tired eyes before looking over to see a snow covered Namir* ...Allo?

Nalfein: *Lifts his head up, peering over his stomach at Iggy* Hi Iggy. XD

Iggy: Wha' yah doin' in tuh snow Nalfein? *Reaches out to gently poke his stomach with a claw*

Nalfein: *Wiggles as he's poked* Trying not to step on you. XD *Rolls over and onto his feet, shaking snow off of his fur*

Iggy: *Blinks, then chuckles* Ah thank yah for no' steppin' on me t'en *Sits up, snow sliding down her back to land in a pile*

Nalfein: You're welcome. Although your yawning alerted me. XD *Shakes off the last of the snow and moves in to nuzzle*

Iggy: *Lets out a purring growl as she returned the nuzzling, an amused grin tugging at her lips* Sorry if Ah star'led yah

Nalfein: Aww, it's alright. You really do blend in with the snow. XD

Iggy: Course Ah do *Grins in a manner that shows off her many sharp teeth* I' be my elemen'

Nalfein: *Tail thumps a few times* I'm glad you're so happy. ^^

Iggy: *Quirks a brow at Ishie, then swats him away with a claw. Lets out a mighty yawn*

Nalfein: *Spots Iggy and sneaks over* =3

Iggy: *Flicks her little ears while blinking sleep from her eyes, unaware of the approach of Nalfein*

Nalfein: *Picks up speed and makes a leap at Iggy, intending to playfully pounce her* XD

Iggy: *Eyes widen as she's pounced,her front paws skidding in the grass as she does a faceplant*

Nalfein: *Blinks and scrambles off* Oh geez, did I hurt you? D=

Iggy: *Sits up, spitting out blades of grass* Nuh, Ah'm fine *Smiles at him, showing off her sharp teeth...that have pieces of grass stuck between them*

Nalfein: oO *Starts to giggle* XD

Iggy: *Blinks out of confusion* Wha?

Nalfein: *Falls over laughing * I see something green! rofl

Iggy: ? *Licks at her teeth, her nose scrunching up at the taste of grass* Ick! *Spits outs the rest*

Nalfein: *Chuckles* I hope you didn't swallow any. XP

Iggy: *Shakes her head while pawing at her mouth* Ah don' t'ink Ah did

Nalfein: Oh good. XD I'd feel bad if you did. *Nuzzles*

Iggy: *Lets out a growling purr at the nuzzling before returning it* Yuh could never hur' me *Grins*

Nalfein: *Smiles* I'm really glad, though I bet I couldn't hurt you anyway; I'm too little. XD

Iggy: *Grins grows, flashing her teeth* Ah like yah small *Carefully nips at his ear* I' makes yah cut'r

Nalfein: *Turns a little red* It does? >/////<

Iggy: Yep *Smiles at the male's obvious shyness*

Nalfein: Well, I guess that's good. It isn't as though I can be a big tough namir like Jazz or Wyvern.

Iggy: *Tilts her head* Does t'at bot'er yah?

Nalfein: *Shakes his head* Nah; as long as you think I'm okay, I don't mind at all. ^^

Iggy: Good *Nips at his ear again* Ah like yah jus' teh way yah are

Nalfein: *Yips in surprise at the n** and moves to try and n** hers back, having to put his paws on Iggy and pull himself up to reach* XD

Iggy: *Chuckles at the action, but decides not to comment. Her little ear flicking at the n**.*

Nalfein: *Lowers himself back down and snuggles against Iggy* <3

Iggy: *Lets out a purring growl at the snuggling* Ah've missed yah

Nalfein: *Smiles* I've missed you too. I wish I could be with you more so I didn't have to miss you. ^^

Iggy: *Shifts to rest her head on top of his* Yah could always move in wit' me

Nalfein: *Looks up at Iggy* Really? 8D

Iggy: *Nods* Really ^^

Nalfein: *Grins and hugs Iggy as hard as he can* Thank you! I think it'll be good for me to have a new place and be with someone I l-love.... *Blushes* >////<

Iggy: *Grins and licks at Nalfein* Ah t'ink i'd be good for teh both of us *Grins grows as she murmurs* Love~

Nalfein: *Nods* Uh-huh. That's what makes it even better; we love each other. ^^
