Ambulance, medic. He wasn't sure what those words meant, but looking at her leg he had a feeling she was talking about a physician. He couldn't allow any of these beings to examine him closely, or too many questions would be raised. He managed to get his body into a sitting position, using her shoulder as a support.
"Thank you. I was looking for someone else and believed this to be their home. My apologies. I had better be going. I shall be just fine." He got to his knees and as he tried to stand, felt a wave of nausea wash over him, and he ended up back on the floor. This wasn't good. He had to get out of here before anyone else showed up. "Please, would you help me up? I seem to be a little disoriented, but it will pass."

Killashandra quickly helped him into a sitting position. "You shouldn't be moving! You have a head injury." She looked close at his head and gently laid her hand near the lump. "You're not bleeding so the paramedics will probably just do an initial examination and leave." Killashandra said as she helped him to stand up.
"Who were you looking for? I know just about everyone in this apartment complex," she said as she almost forcibly guided him over to the sofa.

He accepted her help and sat down on the...sofa. Yes, that was the name.
"I was looking for someone I met a few days ago. I didn't get his name, but he told me he lived in this building. When I saw your door open, I thought I would come in and ask. I must have become disoriented and lost consciousness. I've not been well lately, but I'm recovering. Do you have anything I can drink?"
He was still trying to think of a way to exit the domicile without her knowing, but wondered if he could make it on his own. His head was still reeling from the blow and he knew any attempt to stand would send him into darkness again. But he could not risk having these beings discover that he was not one of them.
