Does anyone know anything about lasting effects on your metabolism after taking them?

My mother was on a "slim down regimen" for a while, and gave me a full box of CUUR green tea pills because they "weren't working" for her.
(I suspect they "weren't working" because she would come home from work and fill up on junk food instead of eating a reasonable dinner, but I won't be judgmental. mad P smile

But, I've been reading up on the website, and it sounds legit. Green tea, birch, yerba mate... nothing in here that'll make me grow a third eyeball or crap out my spleen.
I'm not expecting to take these magical green pills and lay on the couch, eating tater tots, getting skinny. I just thought they might add a little boost to what I'm already doing.
And the Red Carpet Ready workout is AMAZING. I can already tell this workout's going to kick my butt today.

My question is, I only have a month's supply of pills, I can't afford get them monthly, and are there consequences to my metabolism after its been enhanced for the past month?
I'm worried that after I stop taking them, I may hit a plateau, or even gain weight back without even changing my diet or exercise habits.
I'm not desperate enough to lose an extra 1lb per week if it means messing with my body's balance.

Does anyone have experience with CUUR?
I've looked around on the internet for reviews, but none of them seem to mention what happens after you stop taking them.

Even though it's natural I'd think twice before taking any supplement that advertises as a weight loss pill... Though green tea and the other ingredients aren't *bad* for you, I'd recommend just drinking the tea instead of popping the pill.

I haven't heard about it though, that's just my two cents. :]

You'd have to drink 14 cups of green tea to get the same metabolism boost of one of these pills. I love green tea, but I can't drink 42 cups a day. x3

But it says it "boosts metabolism", "supports energy", and "supports weight loss goals". The website also claims it "suppresses appetite". Sounds fantastic. I'm skeptical.
I'm assuming caffeine plays into this somewhere?

Bleh, they're freaking huge, weird-smelling, brown gunky horsepills.
... actually, they smell like newly-mown hay too.
Is this a cleverly repackaged horse vitamin? XD

Diet pills aren't anything that ANYBODY who actually wants to loose weight and keep it off should use.

Green tea has a LOT of caffeine in it.

Chuck them. That's my advice.

Yeah, I think I'm going to toss the pills, but keep the Red Carpet Ready booklet. Its totally valuable.
I can see why people think the pills work, if they're sticking to the kick-butt workout that came with it. x3
