Cael looked around, having no idea where to go now. He gently took Hale's hand again, leading him away from the front of the music store. "see what is this way" Cael had the feeling that this boy would basically know what he meant as he signed things. He looked around, spotting an open field of pure grass. He smiled and walked towards it, wanting to explore this new discovery.

Hale laughed a bit, covering his mouth because he was sure that if he laughed too loud, his 'father' would hear, and then chase him down again. He trembled a bit as the temperature of the concrete permeated his thin scales, lilac-brown eyes following Cael's direction and a smile crossing his face, nodding a few times.
He tugged the four-winged boy across the street a quickly as he could when there weren't any cars, looking around the patch of grass that then became a small sort of thicket of little trees and bushes and vines and other jungle-like things. Imagine that! A little jungle in the middle of New York!! He peered into the dark before tugging Cael toward it, nodding his head in the direction of, well, deeper into said little forest, obviously quite interested to see what was inside of it.
