Hoyle: *wanders into the clearing*
Harold: -is sitting on the ground, his sketch book in his lap, boredly doodling Etah's face-
Hoyle: *spots Harold and waves* Hello! =D
Harold: -looks up and waves back- Hallo! -closes his book, his tail wagging-
Hoyle: How're you? It's been a while. =D
Harold: It has... -smiles- I've been good...you?
Hoyle: I've been okay. ^^ A bit bored, but otherwise good.
Harold: Yeah, me too. -sighs- But, hey, it's warmer now, you can go swimming.
Hoyle: Yeah. =D I think I'm going to go swimming tomorrow or something like that.
Harold: Syd keeps asking me to go, but he's a little strange when he's hyper. It's too much of a risk. -is completely joking-
Hoyle: Strange and hyper? Sounds fun. xD And I can't really imagine him being hyper. Granted I don't know him very well. *shrugs*
Harold: -nods- Yeah...he's rarely hyper, though...you have to make him really happy, and he's rarely happy. I think it's because his brain won't let him.
Hoyle: His brain won't let him? *trying not to pry, but is curious*
Harold: Yeah... -blinks, looking around to see if anyone is listening in, then looks back at Hoyle- There's a part of your brain that controls your emotions...and there are certain drugs, that when taken, swell the happy part to it's maximum capacity. And after that, you can never be that happy again.
Hoyle: Ah...drugs sound awful. D= Even if you stop they still affect your life.
Harold: Yeah... -sighs- Anyways, your happy receptor just gets smaller and smaller, to the point where you either die from overdose, or you just...can't be happy.
Hoyle: Ah...sounds sad. =(
Harold: -nods, but then smiles slightly- But luckily, it's not all gone for him. He can still be happy. It's just...harder.
Hoyle: Well that's good. =)
Harold: -nods- But a lot of the time, things that would make normal people happy upset him... -shrugs- It's complicated.
Hoyle: It sounds it.
Harold: -sighs- Well...I suppose nothing's new with you?
Hoyle: Not too much...oh, a friend of mine who I thought was a perma-teen grew into an adult. =D
Harold: Really? Interesting. -thinks- I've never met any perma-teens.
Hoyle: Really? Well, I haven't either, but I know they're out there. =3 Sara doesn't have any at the house though.
Harold: Ah...I'm fairly sure there's none locked up at Krank's place...as far as I know it's just Orri and a friend of mine.
Hoyle: I don't know of any either. I wonder if they're rare.
Harold: Maybe...-shrugs- There's probably a lot more growing ones than permas.
Hoyle: Oh, definitely. ^^ I kind of wonder what makes a perma teen a perma. What stops them from growing? It's a mystery.
Harold: Perhaps they have some form of dawrfism?
Hoyle: Maybe. O= And they grow from a special berry that has growth hormones.
Harold: -shrugs- This place boggles me.
Hoyle: Especially the disappearances.
Harold: Or the fact that namrah usually come in batches. Syd said that I came in the same batch that you did...
Hoyle: You did? Neat. =3 Yeah, I was an egg for a long time. >.>
Harold: -laughs slightly- I was never an egg, I don't think. Er... -blushes- I guess I technically was... -doesn't really want to think of his mother in that way-
Hoyle: Yeah, you were a human before you got here, right? =3
Harold: -nods- Yeah, and so was Syd...
Hoyle: A lot of the anthros were humans before. =)
Harold: Yeah. But I don't think most of them got here the way we did. Mihir was human, and he got here on a boat.
Hoyle: Wow, neat. =3 I'm not sure how our anthro go here.
Harold: It's interesting...this place is so mysterious.
Hoyle: It keeps Namiah from being boring. ^^
Harold: Eh...I suppose. -frowns slightly- But I still find myself bored everyday.
Hoyle: Me too. It's because the mysteries can't be solved easily. D=
Harold: Eh...it's probably something we'll never know, like religion...
Hoyle: Yeah...and people find religion boring too. Some people anyway.
Harold: It is, sometimes...but it's also very interesting...there's so many different stories.
Hoyle: I haven't read any of them, so I'm neutral. =3
Harold: Ah...a lot of Namians are neutral, it seems.
Hoyle: Yeah... *nods* So anything new with you?
Harold: -shrugs- No...not really... -blushes-
Hoyle: Oh, okay. =3 *doubts it from the blush*
Harold: Well, I mean...something did happen. But it's embarassing...!
Hoyle: Something embarrassing? *isn't going to pry*
Harold: -nods- Yeah...I almost broke up with my boyfriend. -bites his lip- For a stupid reason.
Hoyle: *tilts her head* Really?
Harold: -ears drop- Yeah...it's a long story.
Hoyle: I don't mind long stories. =)
Harold: Ah...well, see, my ex, I suppose he was jealous when he found out I had a new boyfriend...but one day, he got drunk and hit me. And Etah..he got mad and I told him that, if he hurt him, I'd leave him. Anyways...Etah beat up my ex. So...I tried to leave him, but I couldn't...
Hoyle: Oh...wow. That's a lot of drama.
Harold: I guess so... -frowns- I should've known better...I guess it's just his way of saying he cares..I guess...
Hoyle; That he'd beat up another guy for punching you? *thinks* Yeah, it is. Even if it is kind of violent.
Harold: -blushes, a stupid, lovesick look spreading across his face-
Hoyle: *smiles* Well you look hapy. That's a good thing. ^^
Harold: -sort of spacing out, but snaps out of it- Oh, yeah, I suppose so. -smiles- So, what about you? Have you found anyone...er, interesting?
Hoyle: Well, yeah, I guess. I don't really know him that well yet though. He's cute though. xD I just have to see what his personality is like.
Harold: Yeah? I hope he's got a good personality.
Hoyle: Me too. ^^
