Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net is reporting that Stevie Richards may play a role in Abyss' current TNA storyline. Richards was backstage during this past Monday night's Impact taping and it's now being rumored that he may end up debuting with the company as the therapist Abyss continues to refer to on the program. The report is also noting that although there has been talk of using Richards, there is also concern amongst some officials that if they do bring him the company may end up furthering their image as a place where WWE rejects go to work.

Well with the acqusition of Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Jeff Hardy, Booker T, Scott Steiner, etc, I don't see that image furthering anymore than it already has.

It's more related to the fact they hire too many people who's been released by the WWE, and adding Stevie would, in fact, not help at all to that since he's probably one of the most rejects from WWE.

I love Stevie, and I hated the way WWE treated him. I dont see him going to TNA as a WWE rejects thing. I see it more as them furthering their collection of ECW boys.

We reported earlier that TNA has expressed interest in bringing in former WWE/ECW talent Stevie Richards. The Wrestling Observer is now confirming that TNA has announced Stevie will be joining their roster. Richards is apparently on close terms with Terry Taylor, who is TNA's head of talent relations.

I swear, I am so disapointed with TNA- It was such a unique show before it went to TV, and the only reason it went to TV in the first place was because people were hailing it as a maverick alternative to the WWE- But now it's doing everything in it's power to be nothing more than WWE junior.
