Ever been in a performance where you got to mess around at the end?
In middle school I was Morgan La Fey in King Artie and the Knights of the Rad Table. I'm supposed to bow to Artie at one point and the guy playing him is a skater friend of mine so he jokingly pushed on my shoulder causing me to fall over. After that while the ending song was playing and the cast was all smiling me n 'Artie' were bickering and acting like we were fighting. Unprofessional, yes...but what do you expect from a bunch of 8th graders?

My freshmen year we did a play called "My Three Angels" where my charachter dies offstage in a garden (which was okay because the charachter was a real weiner) and the person who loved him comes home and sees him "sleeping" in the garden. I decided to dance offstage where only she could see me. She very nearly broke characheter and I got a good talking to from my director.

With one of the theatre groups here, it's expected to goof off during the last show. We always put a mole on our faces (it's bad luck not to) and people re-word their lines and choreography (if it's just two people and won't be noticed). In Guys and Dolls, during the scene after Sky and Sarah are in the garden...place eek in Havannah, (sp?) and Sarah sings "If I were a Bell," she ran her hands all down Skye's back and eventually...um...squeezed his rear-end sweatdrop He didn't know it was coming and nearly dropped her! whee
