Age: Seventeen.

Class year: Now in his Junior year.
Appearance: Crossfire suffers the very same fate of so, so many; he is, plainly put, the epitome of average. Neither terribly short nor tall, his late adolescent growth spurt managed to push him just past the threshold of 5' 5", stretching his already thin body like taffy and leaving him awkward and gangly. By 16 he seemed to be finally growing into himself, his chest filling out and his musculature gaining definition; unfortunately he now seems to hover perpetually below the weight he'd prefer, the combined curse and gift of a fast metabolism and a long-held bad habit of forgetting to eat. His hair is charcoal black, sloppily cut and unkempt, usually hidden beneath a hood or cap. Crossfire's eyes are the only thing slightly remarkable about him. They are pitch black like the backs of little crawling beetles, pupils discernable from the irises.
Ability: Crossfire is a technopath and technokinetic. He has the ability to interface directly and indirectly with computers as well as communicate with machinery that runs on a microprocessor. He can also physically manipulate machinery through a telekinetic bond and a minute control of electrical impulse; these abilities, however, have yet to be fully realized. Certain aspects of his powers must be very carefully used; it is possible for him to overload himself and short out his own brain.
Brief History: Born in the northern United States to upper class parents, Crossfire spent his youth as any well-to-do boy would. At the wish of his parents, he attended a prestigious Catholic grade school, excelling in his studies and impressing peer and teacher alike with his vast intelligence. He showed a startling skill for constructing and deconstructing machinery and technological components, building a transistor radio from scratch in his very first year. All was not how it seemed, however; in truth, even at this young age Crossfire was abusing his rapidly developing technopathy. While bright, he was certainly no genius. And he certainly could not handle being sent off to university before even hitting the age of 15. Frightened by both his powers ( now nearly completely out of his control ) and the direction his life was taking, he fled MIT and his parent's home. Desperate for any kind of help, he traveled as far around the country as meager sums and charm could take him. Finally, after a long year of solitude and ever increasing panic at the instability of his powers, the Alliance Academy found him and saved him and gave him a home.
He has recently gotten back in contact with his parents, though he has not disclosed his whereabouts or the truth behind his disappearance to them.
Occupation: Currently unemployed, though looking to find a job on campus as a technical adviser.
Personality: Crossfire is a very charming young man. He has a dry, cynical and often times self-deprecating sense of humor. Though friendly and open with strangers, it is the ones he considers friends that he keeps at safe distances.
Likes: Computers, four-stroke combustion engines, languages ( both programming and spoken ), starry skies, quiet places, black lights, casual hacks and cracks, the smell of wet grass, hot-wiring household appliances to explode.
Dislikes: Thunderstorms, connecting directly to electrical outlets, wasting time, eating, sleeping, magic, biochemistry, cats.

Brief History: Born in a rich, successful family, she was born with a combination of the powers her parents had had. Her father, who's work was with greenery, which he had a strong ability of magic with, passed on most of his traits of this magic on to his only child. Her mother, who had also attended the Academy, gave Andy her power to use light to brighten a dark path. It was little power that her mother had, but Andy was born with the power to a much higher extent.
Andy's father had insisted that Andy stay with them, clearly the best way to learn her magic. His idea was easily cast aside by her mother, who demanded that Andy go to the Academy she had gone to, to learn properly, as well as get a decent education. Andy's tuition was paid to go to the Academy, and is going into her third year there, entering her Junior year. She is excited for the new year, ecstatic that she has gotten this far, so close to Senior year, the best year of all.

All pictures set aside, J.B. is around Five foot eight. Her skin isn't pale but its not dark either about a mix in between. Her style is pretty much her own, whether its just in a striped shirt and baggy jeans or baggy jeans with a venom hood on top. She's not very athletic but she isn't that much a couch potato either. She's just something in the middle of somewhere.
Ability: Shadow && Time manipulation
It varies between the two, but trying both at once is a big now, although some people think she isn't all that gifted because her powers have their own time zone, the best hour of the day..the witching hour. Or midnight. That's when it takes its full effect takes over but only for an hour, if even that. Other then that so long as there's time to use and a shadow or two lying around she can be pretty use full. Take it you want your shadow to dance unexpectedly to scare someone. However there is a down side to her ability, it leaves her exhausted and can cause her to just fall asleep even if its standing on her own two feet, her power is pretty much her own time bomb..draining the life out of her slowly and every time she uses it, its just a little bit more that she dies on the inside..
Brief History: J.B. was born in Florida, not exactly the sunshine state most of the time, more like rain and some sunshine. In October of 1991. She was raised in trailer park with her older sister and her younger sister. Her parents worked most of the time and left the girls at home alone. She was more in charge then the oldest because she seemed to be the only one that could manage them both. The trailer park was a bad place to be, the farthest they could go was the end of the road and back. Their parents just wanted to keep them safe, especially knowing they had strange abilities. The oldest being able to communicate with nature and the youngest knowing how to manipulate animal behavior. Where J.B. showed no real signs of any sort of power they thought she was just a plain jane and moved a bit more north. That was when they realized at the humble age of 14 she wasn't all that plain, waking up outdoors in the middle of the night was rather odd especially when she first thought everyone in her home was dead due to time standing still for the first time. It was then she realized that maybe she wasn't all that safe as she thought, and got sent away from then on out. She was a hazard to herself and her mother and father wished her to get it under better control, she considered herself cursed from then on out. Especially not being able to learn to control...even within the few years she'd been to the academy.
Occupation: Sort of a hall monitor but more or less the night version.
Miscellany: Her eyes can change color depending on the weather. They can go from their usual blue/green to either all blue or all green...sometimes even a light blue/gray. Same applies to her hair, its shades either brighten or darken.

Other appearance details are that Will is six foot one, clearly sculptured muscles due to his abilities and that he has a tribal tattoo on his back (See miscellany). His clothes tend to take on the average teenagers style, nothing to fashionable and nothing to scruffy. He has quite pale skin due to the lack of sunny weather in his home country, England.
Ability: Will’s ability can be variable. His strength is considerable compared to boys of his age and stature. He can increase it by absorbing the properties of anything, both animate and in-animate. Though whatever he absorbs takes on his physical and sometimes psychological state. It is unknown how long a substance he absorbs can stay in his body for and how long it can effect his ability. Though some objects in which he absorbs him can leave him in a ‘broken’ state afterward, leaving him weak and sometimes literally with broken arms etc.
Brief History: Will was born in England in 1991 to a single parent family in the rough areas of south London. He grew up only knowing who is mother was, never knowing who is father may be or why his mother kept the answers to his questions away from him. It was until the age of sixteen that he realized he had grown much taller than a lot of his friends his own age; also his body structure was different. His muscle already showed visible tone and he could lift things with ease.
He couldn’t understand why but put it down to a quicker growth spurt in puberty and continued on going to high school as normal. Things began to become stranger, his strength fluctuating, never seeming tired and always full of energy. He became top of his class in sport. It was then that he began to realize he wasn’t the average sixteen year old and prized his mother for questions. He later found out that his father had been a ‘mutant’, cursing him with the matching abilities that his mother had hated him for. Though Will didn’t see it that way, he saw it as a blessing and a gift only for him. Although after some avid research he found he was not the only one with abilities and sent of an application for the Alliance Academy, and he’s been there for the last year.
