Hmm... I'm not sure what I am going to do... I'm waiting for my two teachers whoI I have given the first 10 chapters of my story too. I want to know if they think it's good before I decide if I want to publish it or not... I enjoy writing and if i'm not good enough to publish o well.. but even so, I would still rather write then waist my time in something I don't want to do sweatdrop if that makes any since

It makes perfect sense. If you enjoy writing you should definitely keep doing it, whether or not you can get something published. Not to mention that it takes most people years of practice before they're published anyway. ^^

I'd love to get my poetry published, but my actual stories and novels are more for personal fulfillment, though my husband keeps nagging me to shoot for publication. I guess I don't think I'll write as well if I'm worried about what I'm going to do with the story after; getting it all out in the best way I can is usually good enough for me.

I dream of being published. I'm very anxious to send something to a publisher. I don't care if it results in my first rejection letter. I'll frame it, for pete's sake. My only problem is that I need to get a story idea that I like, then actually have the perseverance to finish it. And the willpower not to rush through it and send it off to the publisher after the first draft. ><; Sadly, that sounds like something that I would do.
