Yeah, I know that not all these games are or seem related to the theme of steam punk but I just thought I'd add a few that have some elements of the style. Add more if you wish, I love to see and have some additions to this small collection, plus I'm bored and have nothing better to do right now. My focus may be on RPG's so if you have other types of games to add as well feel free.
Time Related:
Chrono Trigger, a classic RPG of time traveling with an epic story.
Chrono Cross, more or less the sequel to Chrono Trigger, worth playing but not as great as Chrono Trigger in my opinion.
Western:
Wild Arms
Pirate related:
Skys of Arcadia
Fantasy:
Final Fantasy 6, 9, 12
That's all I can think of for now, more games would be appreciated. I don't play video games to often so knowing these are all that I've heard of or played.

I'm not much of a gamer myself, so I can't draw on a lot of experience regarding video games, but one of my all-time favourites immediately comes to mind: the Thief series.
After all Dark Project was one of the most successful games of it's era, though it's not steampunk but rather steamfantasy (which is MY favourite genre, anyway xp ). Oh my, now I rather feel like trying to get it to run on Linux... xd

Arcanum is the best and most known steampunk game, it's an iso RPG, REAL good game.

I've played and love all those minus Skys of Arcadia, have yet to play that one.
One more not listed that I've played was Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, which is like Fallout 1-2 but steampunk.

Has anyone plaid crimson skies, it's not Steampunk but it dose focus on airpirates in zeppelins.
