So, for various reasons, mainly auditions and exams, I have to learn some "impressive" music but I'm torn about which piece I want to devote my time to.
Option One: Rimsky-Korsakov trombone concerto.
Option Two: Grondahl trombone concerto
I've sight read both. I know that with a lot of work I could play either of them well. But I don't know which to choose!
So to any trombone players(or anyone else for that matter) if you've played either of them or know of them, which would you choose?
