okay so i have had a crush on my best friend since about October maybe... the only problem is that he has a gf...he doesn't want to date her...yet doesn't know if he wants to dump her...over the past month we have gotten super close and we can tell eachother anything...he told me today that he liked me... like as in like like... i finally told him that i liked him to...he said the only problem with that was that his bestfriend has dated me before...his best friend is my ex...and one that in the past three weeks has refused to talk to me... my crush so to speak asks him how he would feel if my crush dated me...this is what my ex replyed with "I could give a rats a** who she dates! But shes not ruining my best friend."
my crush asked my ex how he would feel if he dated me... my ex replyed with "No, I'll just be more pissed off at her"
so i have no clue what to do... i mean i seriously have no clue what to do...i've sat in the dark about me liking my best friend for so long...that he has gotten a gf everytime that i work up the courage to tell him that i like him...and when i finally get the chance to tell him my ex doesn't approve and my best friend doesn't want to loose a friend becuase of this...
help!

Who cares if he doesn't approve. Since when was it up to him who you should date. He can just get over it. My ex wanted to beat my Arron up (my ex was to much of a p***y to act on it) He told me that he didn't want me seeing anyone else even though he was out screwing around with other girls. I didn't care about what Micheal wanted so I started to date Arron and we've been together for four years. grats to us

i think u should date whoever you want to date who cares about ur ex he will get over it bsides if he cares so much why doesnt he just date u again

It sounds like your ex is a really bitter person >.<
In my opinion, you should pursue a relationship with your current crush, Who cares what your ex thinks? he's your ex biggrin as in put an 'x' over his face and ignore biggrin

lol i agree to all comments. Exes have no right to pick who you date or not. Of course he's not going to approve because he still has feelings. It's more like he hates you and he wants you to stay miserable. Go out with your crush. and have fun!

i agree completely that you shouldn't care what your ex thinks.
i can see plainly the dilemma, though, in that fact that your crush might care what his best friend thinks.
i wouldcome to an agreement with your crush just to be close friends until your ex has time to cool off and until then you at least both know what the other thinks and that you'll be dating eventually
and in the case that even after a month or so your ex still gives your crush a hard time about it, then i would try to convince your crush that he can't let his friend rule his life because what kind of friend is that.
see, you want to give your crush time to feel the way you do about his friend because right now he might still respect his friend's opinion
