The word echo through Morgana's soul, even after she felt the two souls fuse into one. Her body lengthens, as her arms and legs grow fur. her fingers and toes shift to paws. Her lower body grows fur white as pure snow. From her back, a pair of long black eagle wings break free from the skin above her shoulders. A long tail of a lion sways behind her had her hair grows masking her eyes as she growls.
Blazing eyes of emerald fire watch the fire between the two dragons. Before them stood Morgana, no longer in the form they would know. But instead in the form of a Sphinx, her claws lengthen as she leaps at the Ivory Dragon.
As her claws of her back legs as well as her front ones dig into the torso of the Ivory dragon, her jaw clamps down on the back on his neck. Her wings flapping as she pulls the Ivory dragon away from Torvil.
This was no longer his fight, this was her. And she was going to settle this once and for all.

Torvil stood there in awe, frozen in utter shock as he watched his wife take the form of a creature, that in his mind, fit her perfectly. A smile crept across his maw and he moved slowly behind the two fighters, looking for an opening to make a Coup de Grace.
His body was coiled and ready to spring when he noticed the ferocity in which she fought, with the rage and the desire to end this. So Torvil sat and he waited, feeling the presence of the Old Ones and knowing they were there passing judgment even now.
He wondered if Morgana felt their ancient eyes upon her as she landed the killing blow upon her foe, causing the Ivory Dragon to go completely limp.

Tossing the Ivory Dragon to the side, Morgana breathes in slowly as she looks around. She felt the eyes on her, judging her. Was she in trouble for stepping in? Turning to look at Torvil, she felt herself growl out of fear.
Would she lose him because of her move?

It has been decided... A voice so old it shook the very minds it entered, causing Torvil to enter a very submissive stance.
A mated pair may fight to defend their territory, that is the law. If mates cannot work together what hope is there for the future of our kind? We worried when the humans came. We watched as our children got along with them as well... The past should not interfere with the future. All we ask is the future look to us for wisdom. The voice dimmed a bit and Torvil regained his composure, his form returning to that of a man.
We have judged the one called "The Ivory Dragon" and found him wanting. His soul shall be cast out from us, and he shall not join those that have gone before. He shall wander the no-place, alone, never to bother another soul again. So judge we all.
With that, the Ivory Dragon's body vanished, leaving Torvil, Morgana and Fire standing in the room.
Daughter, now I must return you to your body. Fire said, trying to direct Morgana away from Torvil.

Morgana looks around slightly shocked before she shakes her head at Fire, trying to pull away from him "What about Torvil? What about my husband?" looking beyond Torvil, she reaches out towards him "Torvil, please...don't leave me alone." she wasn't sure what was going on, but this was scaring her to no end.
Why was she being told to move to her body, but not Torvil?

Fire stood between her and Torvil. Your mate made his choice. He chose to die to save your life. We commend him that he values you so highly, but he will not return with us.
Torvil stood tall and proud, and walked through Fire, not even flinching away from the representation of the Element. Taking Morgana into his arms, he kissed her fiercely and held her tight.
Torvil, it is time for you to go your own path. The ancient voice spoke again. Worry not Morgana, mate of Torvil, you will see your mate again, and soon.
Torvil slowly pulled back from his wife, and cupped her cheek. "Wait for me love... I won't leave you alone. Trust me." He kissed her one more time and then took her hand. She would have to be the one to leave first. It was the way of things.

Morgana shoo her head as she squeezes Torvil hand rather hard, refusing to let go "NO!" the anger in her voice was there, and in echo rather hard thanks to the element of Air "I will not leave you Torvil. Damnit you promise me you will not leave me. If you die, then I die too." the anger was building as her soul shook.
At this point, not even the element could move this child.

So be it then! Fire flared up with its temper and was gone.
Torvil chuckled weakly and shook his head, before moving to Morgana and brushing her hair with his fingers, then cupping her cheek again with his free hand, he pulled her into a kiss and rested his forehead against hers.
"We are ready ancient ones. We are ready to go home to our daughter and our kin."
As you wish child. Bless you, and bless your mate and kin. May you have many young and live long and happy. Good hunting.
With that said, there was a sudden jerking on the middle of Morgana's being, and she and Torvil both suddenly broke into a thousand pieces and then were made whole again in and instant, each taking away a part of the other as they awoke with sudden gasps on the floor.
The room was silent. No healer or Element or spirit, just the two of them.

Morgana lays on the ground, her breathing slow as she doesn't dare open her eyes. She knew the dragon was gone, as she felt the weight on her back vanish. The elements still flow through her veins, although they were stronger then normal.
Around her face, her hair was longer once more. It covered most of her face as she moves her fingers. Still she didn't dare open her eyes.

Torvil had moved, crawling over to his wife, he leaned down and gently placed his lips to hers. "I love you," He murmured against her lips before making the connection, his hand finding one of hers and squeezing even as he closed his eyes and kissed her ever so gently. "And I am never going to leave..."
He sat there like that for a very, very long time.

Opening her eyes, Morgana wraps her arms around Torvil as she flips them. Laying on top of him, she brushes her lips over his face then down his neck before she chuckles rather sadly. It wasn't that she was upset, she was just so happy that this was all over.
Pulling back, she leans up as she looks at him. Her body was trembling as she runs her finger over his bottom lip "Can we finally go home? Can we finally go home, and back to our daughter?"

Torvil smiled and brushed her hair. "Yes, we can go home to our little girl," leaning up he kissed her deeply, wrapping his arms around her neck and holding her close, just reveling in the moment of peace. Nothing but his family mattered anymore.
The world and the rest of it all could burn.
