ooc|| Me, Kyt, Kir? ;3"Nana! You can't catch me~! I'm as quick as a cheetah!" trumpeted Takuma as he raced across the savannah, feet barely touching the ground for more than a second at a time as he flew by, fur whooshing behind him. Sky-blue eyes sparkling with mischief as he slowed for a few moments to check that his sister was still behind him, before he was off again, cackling to himself. He was such a playful cub at times, yet could also be stroppy and hot-headed. But to his twin sister - his best friend - he was never that. Well...maybe a little stoppy, but she usually deserved that.
"Zizi, you're so slow!" giggled the juvenile a little breathlessly, slowing to a gradual halt, tiring. He rolled onto his back, kicking his feet into the air playfully, as a signal to his sister that he still wanted to play. He never didn't want to play, did Taku. He was just playful like that.

Amanzi glared at the back of her brother, watching his tail swing back and forth as he ran gleefully faster and faster than her own paws could move. This was about all they did, usually: raced. And usually he ended up beating her. Even though she had gotten bigger, so had he, and then they he had gotten faster still. It was annoying."Can't you think of anything else to call me? Really, 'slow' is getting old," she yelled out at him. Really. It was enough to insult her size (and she wasn't too much smaller than her sisters, really. She was an average size. She could even be considered bigger. But on her speed? Come on.
Amanzi slowed to a stop next to him, collapsing on the ground as well. Her breathing was noticeably heavier than her brother's. But she glared at him all the same."Now what?" she asked. It wasn't that she didn't want to play. He always did, though, and he usually came up with decent other games to play besides what they regularly did."We could play crocodile if we found a pond or a water hole or something."

Walking quietly, the pink male was scanning the area. Pembe'juhi felt the sun on his back before his light blue eyes caught the sight of two little cubs. At a closer look, they were twins and bore interetsing markings. With a grin, he watched them quietly not wanting to disturb them just yet.
These had to be the twins that his daughter, Jesenya, was talking about. He would wait a little while till they noticed him before he would go make his way to them.

"But slow is what you are!" Taku retaliated, pouting to his sister. His words came between heavy breaths, though giggles also soon rose from his maw, as he flipped over onto his belly, wriggling about. The wriggling soon stopped at the mention of crocodiles and water, though, the pouting returning as he shook his head defiantly.
"No! No water! I hate water - you know that!"
He seemed genuinely upset that she'd forgotten this, but these thought soon faded as he spotted the pink lion in the distance, narrowing his eyes to get a better look. A little unnerved, he wriggling closer to his sister, whispering into her ear, "Who's that, looking at us?"
He didn't seem to do too well with the subtlety, however, clearly staring at Pembe.

She rolled her eyes at his smart-butt response. Really, was that all he could think of to say to her? What a boy.
"Yeah, well, think of something better, dummy," she retorted. Then she almost ended up tripping over him because of his sudden stop and rolling onto the ground, but she caught herself. Instead of falling over him, she laid on top of him, so her belly was squishing his, which was jutting out into the air with his deep breaths.
"Oh, you're such a baby!" Amanzi teased him. Really, water wasn't all that bad. It cleaned you, it was fun to play with, and it tasted good (most of it, at least, if it didn't have salt and icky stuff in it). Plus, it helped to cool you off in the summer time, when it could get really, really hot.
She knew very well that he hated water, but it was still fun to bring it up and tease him with it. She blinked and turned her head to face the direction he had whispered about. There, in the distance, was a bright pink lion grinning at them. Not a predator's grin, but like one of those "I know something you don't know" smiles.
"I don't know. Should we go talk to him or something?"

It didn't take the twins too long to notice his present, Pembe wasn't too surprised by that. Well, he decided it was now or never. At least he wasn't interupting their play now and he wouldn't feel so bad. The last thing he wanted was to interupt his cubs' play.
He took a few steps in their direction, what exactly should he start out with? After a few moments of racking his brain, he just decided to go with the flow, "I was wondering when I'd run into the rest of you."

"AM NOT!" Taku hotly defended himself with a growl, though paused as he looked over to Pembe again, noticing the lion approaching them. Instinct seemed to kick in and he also took a step forwards, so he was standing protectively in front of his twin, watching the other lion closely. Taku was the type to rush to conclusions rather rashly and without much thought - just as he was doing now.
The words that came form Pembe's mouth seemed to throw him for a moment, however, Taku frowning, before crouching down with a small growl. There went his hot-head personality again. "What're you talking about!?"

Amanzi stuck her tongue out at her twin. He was a baby, and he knew it, too. That's why he defended himself so heatedly.
She was about to add something to his little, hot reply when he suddenly growled and moved protectedly in front of him. Her eyes followed his narrowed gaze and found the large, pink lion approaching them slowly.
Aaand, there he went again. Jumping to conclusions and attacking someone who could potentially be wanting to help them instead of hurt them. Doofus.
"Taku, stop," she glared at him. Then she took a step forward until she stood next to her brother instead of behind him. It was comforting and sweet of him to instinctively protect her all the time, but this was not one of those times.
"The rest of us? You mean our whole litter? You've met them all but us?"
