Bezaleel sighed looking up at the cloudless sky, it was so horrible how cheerful it seemed, it made him more depressed then usual. He waddled over towards a tree and sat in it's shade, at least that was more pleasant than that hot burning sun, which hurt his eyes. He frowned as he sat down before looking at the tiny pathetic bugs by his feet, they were so small and disgusting, their existence was entirely meaningless. There was no real reason to live, that he knew, but those who took their own lives were depressing, and even worse were those who sacrificed themselves for the ones they "loved". The pup snorted quietly, their loved ones would get over them, find someone new once they were gone, everyone was so easily betrayed.

Nore danced around a field giggling like a little pup. she loved the way the sun rays tickled her fur. she looked up into the sky and smiled. she turned to her familiar Nam, "isnt every thing just perfect to day. its almost like the universe is on a balanced edge and one little thing would push it off." she turned and dashed to a large tree that seemed to be waving to her, just inviting her into its shady paradise. nam trotted after her trying to keep up. it was usless though, nam's short legs just could not move as fast. he walked under the tree and sat down hoping to get some rest before nore ran off again.

Bezaleel frowned as he spotted a larger dragonfly just around the tree, it made him feel absolutely miserable seeing how happy this dragonfly was, were they a fool? Didn't they know how easily their fragile happiness could crumble? He grunted slightly and stood up and waddled towards the dragonfly and its familiar a bit before stopping, he realized that if they spotted him they might try to suck him into their false happiness too and that he did not want. Tilting his head he sighed loudly and scowled, "what a dreadful day." He moaned and crouched down to hide wondering if they had heard him.

nore stopped when she heard a voice. she looked around, but could not see anyone. instead of trying to find the source she set her sights to the tree. she ran up to it and lept to the lowest brach. she was just able to reach it, and pull her-self up. the climbing got easier from here. she stopped about mid tree and settled herself on a thick comfy looking branch.
Nam looked up the tree and watched as nore climbed. no way was he going to atempt that. instead he walked around the other side. to his surprise he found a small grey pup. he trotted up to the pup and stuck out his had as a friendly jester. "me Nam, you?"

Bezaleel frowned, seemed the dragonfly had heard him, but he remained unseen. He supposed he should be happy he hadn't been found, but of course he wasn't. It was very rarely he was happy and he scowled as he watched the dragonfly climb the tree, now she would have a better vantage point. He was too busy watching her to realize her familiar was heading towards his hiding spot and he blinked and jerked back when he saw the hand before him.
"Bezaleel," he hissed and nudged the paw with his nose, great, just great he had been found. He glanced up into the tree hoping the familiar wouldn't give away his hiding spot. "So how are you Nam?" he asked as he narrowed his eyes.

nore looked out through the branches at the field. it truly was just an amazing day. she looked down to see were Nam had gone off to. she saw him standing next to what looked like a pup, but it was hard to tell from this high up. she moved down a few branches to here what was being said better.
Nam shook his head at the pup and pointed up into the tree. "her too fast for me. she jump and run and swim in da river like fish. she dance in feild like birds in sky. i not able to keep up, i just trot around behind waiting for night to fall so i can be fed and sleep." Nam squatted next to Bezaleel using his tail to help keep him balanced. "you look like cloudy day when rain comes. there even rain under your eye. why is you so?"

Bezaleel's eyes flicked up, glancing warily into the tree for the other dragonfly, he didn't like the fact that she could observe him so easily. He turned his eyes back to Nam and nodded slowly, "ah that make sense i suppose..." he raised an eyebrow, "she sounds very... enthusiastic." Nam's description of her made him feel a little bad for him, he couldn't bear to be around someone so optimistic, it was irritating to watch people who thought the world was made of rainbows and sunshine. "Well i guess you like night the best then?" he tilted his head to the side, night was the best time of day after all. "I look like a cloudy day?" a grin spread across his face, cloudy days, now that was something he liked. "I don't know, i was born that way..." he chuckled sadly and shook his head. "why do you look the way you do?"

nam shrugged "i never look at my self. i am told that i match her, but i dont feel the same." he looked up at nore and waved.
Nore jumped out of the tree and landed next to Nam. she laughed at his startled expression. she loved to scare him. it just made her so happy. she turned and bowed to the little grey pup. "why hello there little one. i am Nore. it is quite a lovely day out is it not." she smiled warmly at the pup as she pawed some dirt out of her fur.

Bezaleel smirked, "you should look at your reflection in a pool of water, then you'll know." He glanced up into the tree at the dragonfly, "I suppose you do match her, but the fact you don't feel the same is no surprise since you aren't the same, you aren't even the same species... but why would you want to feel the same anyway? that would be absolutely miserable."
He frowned and backed away surprised when the dragonfly jumped down, he furrowed his eyebrows and peered at her, she was way to happy. Seems the thing that made her happy was making others miserable, she seemed awfully happy just by scaring Nam, seems she was a horrible person. "Of course not! It's absolutely terrible!" he scowled and glared at the ground.

nam ran behind Nore and peered out at the grey cloudy pup. Nore giggled and liked nam's forehead. "sorry babe." she turned back to the grey pup and nodded to him. "hello my name is nore, and why do you think, oh little one, that today is such a terrible day?" she turned and sat next the the pup.

Bezaleel tilted his head and watched Nam, he raised an eyebrow finding the behavior rather strange. "How horrible to meet your Nore," he chuckled quietly and gazed up at her. Why was she so happy?! It almost infuriated him, she clearly must be a fool. "Oh because the world seems so happy but its obviously just trying to deceive everyone so it can play some nasty prank like making it rain or something." He smirked and tapped his tail against the ground as he shifted to move away from her a little. "At least if its raining it can only stop thus there are no let downs."
