Could you fellow tomboys give me some advice on which kinds of exercises and how much every day I should do to get some muscle on my arms? I do push ups every day but I don't know how much I should so that it has some effect. Does anyone has an experience with it? I don't have the time and don't want to spend money to go to a work out center so I prefer exercising at home. I am annoyed of my arms being such thin sticks - I would like to be proud of them when in summer I wear something sleeveless smile cool

What I do is lift my son and throw him in the air... Basically you don't just want to do one thing! Lift different weight objects and push ups too. I had helped my step dad load up stuff in his trailer to workout (too busy and tired lately to anymore much), I'll lift what I can when I can at work and play on the WII for boxing. It made my upper arms SO SORE one day I could barely lift them!!!! I know the WII is expensive but you could do boxing in a real gym for a workout too. Be careful not to over do it too biggrin Learned that the hard way with the WII boxing! sweatdrop sweatdrop

WII, what's that? I tried to find it on the net but it found only sites about video games o_O I guess if I stick to the push ups combined with objects lifting regularly eventually there will be some results... hopefully. So far the only results is that my arms ache after the exercising but that's a good thing cause it indicates that the muscles were really working eh? smile

The Wii is a game system but you have to move and punch just like IRL so it's a great workout biggrin the Wii fit is a great way to exercise too. Push ups are good too.
