{Plot}
Welcome to the world of Kalandra. This land was created as a refuge for all the creatures other than humans, when the humans ultimately took over Earth. These seperated races became as shut off from humans as possible, with three existing portals somewhere along the beach of California. Therefore some humans have accidentaly wandered into Kalandra. When humans do come, they suddenly gain a magical ability, some common ones being invisibility, sentiency, and others.
Peace has been maintained for a little bit over a hundred years now, but that could be about to change. War is breaking out on the horizon... It's really over nothing but the different races' differing opinions.
Elves, Fairies, and Dragons against Vampires, Satyrs, Werewolves, and Werecats.

{Race Descriptions}
Elves: Look like humans, but are agile and adept at the art of Elemental Magic. There are Fire Elves, who control the element of fire, and wear reds, oranges, and yellows. Water elves wear blues, greens, and purples, Air Elves can sprout wings at any time and wear whites and light blues, and Earth Elves wear browns, greens, and yellows.
Fairies: Half the size of elves and humans, fairies are small with sparkling wings, blonde hair, and dressed in bright, happy colors. They carry wands with which they can cast simple spells.
Dragons: Can breathe fire, fly, and are savage with their teeth and claws. They often have Riders, usually elves but sometimes humans, and together they can do some very powerful magic. Elves and dragons also have a somewhat strange tendency to fall romantically in love.

Vampires: Black hair and fiery red eyes, vampires are slightly taller than elves and have an instinct different from other races: A certain lust for blood, but also for love.
Satyr: A fawn creature, Satyrs are human except for their fawn legs. They are strong with their arms, making them adept in war with clubs, macees, swords... etc.
Werewolves and Werecats: Werewolves can choose to be wolf or human, and prefer fighting in wolf form. Werecats can be cat or human, and prefer fighting in human form.

5. Nothing extrememly gory.

Sadly, at 19 she is old enough by Kalandran standards to join the army. Her exceptional ranging, swordfighting, and magic skills make her a target to be drafted into the army. Normally she would find this an honor, but she has just found out what it means to truly love, and she wants to experience an actual romance...
