A concept sketch as I was trying to figure out how to deisgn gabriel's armor. Usually he fights but-naked, but I figured his 'horseman of the apocolypse' armor would have to be completely different to his usual personality because, quite frankly, he won't enjoy this job.
So i went for a European style armor and made a point of covering his face.
As you can tell, I was a little lazy with the horses' design, but I want to keep it speedy-looking. yup.

I just relaised when I looked at it for a second time that 'europen' was probably not the right word.

It's a mix of everthing I think. But I did look at a lot of eauropean/french/german king's jousting armor. But it looks a bit eastern too...hmm lol

Well, whatever. it's a mix XD



Also - Gabriel's the only high angel that wears crucifixes as well as the usual 'god' symbol I made up which is a sort of arrowheard on a round base thingy. you can see it on Adam's armor.

Point is - most non-human angels avoid crucifix designs.

tee hee depends if he goes wilingly. Just bribe him with popcorn :p
