Prompt Response: My perfect Valentine's day... Well my idea of a perfect Valentine's day would be a romantic day with my Rob, spending the day WITH him, rather than just talking to him. Since it'll be the first time having a boyfriend at Valentine's day, I'll want it to be memorable <3 We'll start out at his house, just talking and hugging and holding hands, doing the silly things we do, the day still early, and maybe watching him play some games and meeting his parents. As it starts getting later, we could go see a movie, maybe that new horror movie that'll scare me really bad and cause me to hide in his shoulder the whole time, screaming like I'm the one getting murdered. He'll just laugh and say that I'm a wuss and ask why I wanted to go see this anyway. And I'll say I wanted to be scared, but it was ok since I was with him. Then after the movie we'd go get some dinner... We'll probably have to have someone drive us, which would be embarrassing, but it'd be so much fun to eat together! We'd get something tasty, and try to steal each other's food. We'll have fun and laugh some more, and then talk about some serious business. What are we gonna have for dessert? We'll get uber-serious as we talk about that, and finally decide on sharing something silly, and eat that happily. And I'll steal a kiss while he's got food in his mouth, and tell him he tastes like delicious food. He'll then spend the rest of our time at the food place trying to steal a kiss back, and say I taste like babies. Don't ask how that works, it just does. Then we'll leave the food place after paying our bill, and wait for our ride to take us home. While waiting, we'll have a poke war, and I'll win by using my sad face while he was gloating about his victory. Then when we get home, we'll be bored and have to figure out something new to do. So we'll have a kiss fight, which is similar to a poke war, only we have to counter the other's move with something until we can't do anything to counter. I'll probably hug him, and he'd kiss me, and I'd counter kiss, and he'd tackle hug, and then I'll squeeze him, and then he'll be out of moves and I'll win. And just as I claim to have won, he'll come out of nowhere with something and I'll have to admit he wins this round. Then it'll be late, and we've already played all the games, and it's almost midnight, so I'll have to go home. I'll be sad to leave, but we'll have a big make out session and have a little fight about who loves whom more, and it'll be left undecided, and then I'll go home. That, would be the best Valentine's day ever. Word Count: 499 >:3 Just barely make the count xD

Prompt Response: My perfect valentine’s day would be…
My significant other waking me up at a decent hour with a dozen roses and a cute soft teddy bear. We make ourselves a small picnic with chocolate covered strawberries, turkey sandwiches, and cream sodas. Then they take me on a car ride to where our picnic shall be, which I shall be unaware of the location. After driving a good distance, we arrive at a gorgeous beach where few to no people are and the water is crystal clear. They surprise me by bringing my favorite bathing suit without me knowing and we go to eat our picnic foods. After the food is gone, we go to play in the cool water (actually it’ll probably be cold, but it’s the perfect valentine’s day XD) while having tickle wars and they throwing me in the water for fun.
Then sadly the day is ending and the night begins, however we snuggle on our blanket while we watch the sun go down. We pack up our things and head back to our area, just before that we drive to a remote place to sit and watch the stars while he brings out some ice cold champagne. When it strikes midnight and we have had our small fill of champagne, they drive me back to my place and will probably end up staying the night so that we wake up next to each other the next morning.

Prompt Response: My perfect Valentines Day would be time spent with my family. Since I have no significant other I’ll spend it with the ones I know I’ll love for forever. First I’d start off the day giving my mother a bouquet of purple roses cause purple is her favorite color. Then I would make her and my foreign exchange students breakfast. For another part of the day I would go over to my grandmothers and give her some roses and spend time with her, my grandfather and my little cousin. After that I would head over to my father’s house giving him a jar of chocolate peanut butter. Sounds a little weird but that’s one of his favorite things. And then give my step mother some roses and take my little brothers out to dinner and movie, maybe even a little shopping. To end the day I’d get everyone together and treat them to dinner so that I could end the day with everyone I love to spend time with.

Prompt Response: My perfect Valentine's Day would be to spend the evening with my boyfriend, Cris' father. Grandma would babysit for the evening and we would drive to the next town just to go bowling. It's been a while since we last went and he loves the game dearly. Then afterwards or possibly before we would spend a nice relaxing meal at the local Olive Garden. Unfortunately though I don't think this will be the case since money is tight this month...again. What will most likely happen is that we'll just spend the evening together as a family. Watch a movie at home, exhange our gifts(hopefully I will be done drawing by then) and finish the night with hot chocolate if it's cold enough. Word Count: 124

Prompt Response: My idea of the perfect Valentine’s Day would be one where my significant other would take the time to think about what I like and create a perfect day without asking me once what I would like. I want him to know me well enough that there is no need to ask me and that I will be delightfully surprised when I see him with what he has prepared. Hopefully, the day will be nice out, and I can be free to wear whatever I want, and do whatever I please. I hope that my significant other will not mind my childish and romantic notions, and indulge me in them to the best of his ability. Even something as simple as preparing a meal that he knows I like and spending time with each other is perfect so long as the mood is right and both of us are happy.
I do not want a day when my significant other thinks it is a waste of time and energy. That it is a stupid holiday and a stupid ideal. As I said, I want someone willing to indulge in something special because of the idea behind the day and forget that it is a foolish holiday. It does not matter what I receive or what he decides to do for the holiday so long as he does something and knows me well enough to know what I would enjoy.
I also would participate in this and make, not buy, a gift that I know he would like and make him smile. So long as he and I are happy and can spend some alone time together without anything interrupting the peace and romantic atmosphere, then that would be my idea of the perfect Valentine’s Day. I do not need anything fancy to make my day but just some love, respect and understanding. I do not ever want to have a significant other like I did before who thought Valentine’s Day was a joke and thought me foolish for wanting to celebrate it. So just having someone willing to celebrate it and thinking of the day as special is good enough for me. Word Count: 362

Prompt Response:
My heart filled with love, good will and cheer. That is my perfect Valentines Day. I would want to feel special to someone and want everyone around me to feel special, even strangers. If I could make just one person smile on that day, or any day, that would be a perfect Valentines Day for me. I would be happy if he would just think of me on valentines. But! if I chose to be selfish...
If I could be selfish I'd want my significant other to saunter up to me, without any roses or candy or gifts, and take me by the arm and walk with me. Then take me to the cliff in town that over looks the sea and we would eat a picnic lunch that I made and he would tell me how good it was. I'd surprise him with a batch of homemade chocolates and he'd kiss me. We would watch the sunset, just cuddling, not talking because we are comfortable without words. and maybe drink some hot chocolate and sit under a blanket. Then I would want him to drive me home, kiss me and take me inside and watch one of my favorite movies with me, just holding me. We would talk about our day and drink some tea. I would give him lots of kisses and hold his hand lots. I would want to have him read to me, and tuck me in. Then I would want to cuddle with him until I fell asleep.
That would be my PERFECT Valentines. Word Count: 253

Prompt Response: My perfect Valentines Day? There are a lot of ways to describe "perfect." The day is already perfect if I wake up next to the one that I love, snuggled in his arms and listening to his heartbeat. He'd greet me with a kiss and a loving whisper before we rose to make a nice breakfast and share it together.
We might stay in for a while to watch a movie together that we both can enjoy. It doesn't have to be particularly romantic or mushy, or even scary. I'm just happy to be near him and enjoying something we both like. After that, I'd want to take a drive to the coast. Nothing is more relaxing or romantic to me than the ocean. When we reached the coastal town, we could park the car somewhere and then just walk the streets, talking about meaningful things or utter nonsense while roaming a few shops. We'd mostly be window shopping but might find something special for each other. Later on, we'd go for a late lunch or early dinner, whichever comes first. A nice restaurant on the wharf would be the perfect place. It's not too expensive and it has a nice atmosphere. When it's all done, we drive even further along the coast to a smaller town on a seaside cliff, so we could sit on the edge and watch the sunset over the beautiful ocean together. Then we'd head home and enjoy a nice late dessert, then cuddle close and say "I love you" to each other with meaning that we can hear in our voices.

Prompt Response: My idea of a perfect Valentine's day is a day where I can spend the whole day with my mom - where she's relaxing instead of running around trying to do everything for everyone. She works really hard both at work and at home, and I'd like to have time for us to veg out in front of the TV watching silly old movies like Gidget and the Tammy series. If she'd let me cook a dinner of either chilli or mac and cheese, that'd be even better - lunch could just be cold cuts and some chocolate chip cookies. To end the night with her, we'd have a milkshake and I'd thank her for everything she does for me everyday - I know she didn't expect to still be taking care of me at my age. After she went to bed, I'd have a giant snuggle fest with all of my animals - my dog and my two kitties. They're my babies, and I love them more than just about anything. First I'd pet Duo for a while, 'cause he gets jealous of the cats otherwise, and then let him curl up on the end of the couch to get to sleep early. Once he conks, I can get first Aden up on the couch with us, then Emrys. Then, with all the pets cutting off the circulation to my feet in a pleasant, fluffy way, I'd settle in to watch a few episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel, then fall asleep and have happy dreams. <3

Prompt Response: (Forgive me, but I feel compelled to write it like a story)
"Wake up, sleepy head!"
I groaned, swatting at the face to close to mine. I didn't want to wake up. I heard a soft laugh before a finger jabbed at my side, and I smiled. He was an impatient one. I opened my eyes, scowling at him playfully. "As welcome as that is, it's--" Turning to the clock and narrowing my eyes, I scoffed at the numbers glaring at me. "10. Pfft, I guess I have nothing to complain about, do I?" I looked back up at him, his silly grin my only answer. "Do you know what today is?" he asked, his smile turning coy. "Friday?" I asked, slightly confused.
I saw him scowl, using the same look I had not moments before. "It's Valentines Day!"
My eyebrows shot up. I usually never celebrated the holiday, thinking it downsized on the single people who had to suffer through a day of kids making out in the hallways and giving each other little candy grams and cards and screaming 'I love you!' down the halls. Truth be told, it sickened me, as it did most of my friends. The idea was sweet, but when you were single, it was a nightmare.
"You freak, you could have warned me something like this would happen last night!" He laughed and wagged a finger at me. "But that would have ruined this." I sighed and rolled my eyes, sitting up and swinging my legs over the edge of the bed. Suddenly, I felt him pull me up and wrap his arms around my waist. No matter how many times we did this, it never got old. It was the same thing with everything about him. Every smile, every kiss, every tease; I couldn't imagine life without them.
"So," I began, slightly disappointed when he pulled away, "What, exactly, do you have planned for today, neh?" He tilted his forehead against mine, giving me a small kiss. "You'll see." He grabbed hold of my hand, intertwining his fingers with mine, and led me downstairs, the smell of pancakes heavy in the air. As we entered the kitchen, I saw why he woke me up.
He'd prepared breakfast, as far as I could tell. Pancakes and toast. Simple, but when it came from him, I would fall for anything. "Aaah, Pancakes, the food of choice for all romancing couples," I teased, and he nipped at the side of my neck, scoffing. "I'll have you know, most Italians would be hideously jealous of you right now." I laughed at his banter. "Right," I scoffed, and he snorted. "Fine, I'll take my pancakes back."
"Oh, no, they're lovely. Engorged copious amounts of love, but lovely."
I sat down and ate, him describing the days to-be events. A trip to the City, a play, dinner at a restaurant, and then a so-called 'special surprise' when we got home. "Just don't spend too much on me," I said seriously. I hated it when he spent a lot of money on me. He smiled cunningly.
"I wouldn't dream of it." Liar.

Prompt Response: (I did not know if was suppose to be our perfect day or a perfect day for the Karoo we would win so I went with the Karro)
What is my Perfect Valentines day? Is it not just another day? Well I guess then the best thing would be to be able to find a beautiful sweet patch of clovers peaking out of the snow giving me a sweet treat as I watch the other Karoos chasing after mates and confessing hidden loves. I love watching the shy ones finally getting the courage to tell that lovely female or that handsome male that they like them. It feels my heart with joy to see those in love on this day. Though I know that I don’t have someone special I don't see how someone can hate this day. I am sure one day a nice Karoo will be there for me and if not then at least I can enjoy watching others. Yes I think with the clovers and watching others my Valentines Day will be perfect and complete. Though it might not be bad if someone would confess they liked me…

Prompt Response: My perfect Valentine's Day would start with my boyfriend and I sleeping in, just cuddling and half asleep in the nice warm bed. We'd make breakfast together (we rarely cook); something simple like eggs, bacon, toast; we'd exchange gifts, he'd have gotten me flowers. He's not the flowers sort, so it would be a big surprise. We'd play some WoW (not romantic, but it's something we both enjoy), have a light lunch, maybe go see a movie or play, or stay in and watch something we have on DVD, cuddles on the bed with big smooshy pillows to prop us up and snacks to munch. We'd go somewhere fancy for dinner, splurge, and order the most expensive thing on the menu, just because. Then we'd go home, cuddle in bed with a couple of good books, staying up late with the knowledge that we can sleep in the next day as well, warm and close. Word Count: 155

Prompt Response: My perfect Valentine's Day would start late in the morning after a long time of "snuggling" Then my boyfriend would make a big breakfast with french toast and scrambled eggs with cheese. After a large breakfast we would settle down together and watch a movie. Then with the weather being warm, we would go outside and he would surprise me with a horseback trail ride! After the ride we would go back to the house and clean up. Maybe! After that we would play some video games until it was time for dinner. We would go to the fancy Chinese restaurant where they give you hot towels to clean your face and hands. To end the day we would watch some TV or another movie and fall asleep in each others arms. Prompt Response: My ideal Valentine’s Day would be to have a party/dance that goes absolutely perfect. There would be punch, chips, those little fancy sandwiches on toothpicks, outside during a great night with the sky clear and all of your friends there. The setting would be in some fancy outside garden, like the ones you see in movies, where only the rich attend. Before the party, I would get to go to the movies with my family, or anything where I can just be with my family without any distractions. Then after, visit my many friends who I might not have seen for a while. After the party, I would go with my boyfriend (who I dun have cause I’m too young XD) and we could go to dinner and spend the entire night at Paris, somehow getting there…. Word Count:137
