HOLY CRAP THAT THING SUCKED.

It was a good movie, I suppose, if you hadn't read the books and didn't realize they changed...well...EVERYTHING.

They didn't even stick to the major plot points!!! UGGH IT WAS INFURIATING.

And, for the record, I hate Brendan Frasier.

Nobody looked anything like I imagined them in the book...Capricorn was close but I never imagined him bald. I was thinking short black hair.

Basta...nothing like my imagination. And I though flatnose was supposed to be skinny and tall?! Mo...don't EVEN get me started about that one. See above comment about the actor who played him.

Major spoilers ahead, for the warning.

I cannot believe they killed Basta and Magpie!!! They are not supposed to die! And Dustfinger doesn't get back to Inkworld until the SECOND book, thank you very much! And the ending scene...What was with the whole Toto crap, and Maggie writing the ending? Um, no. I liked it much better the way it was originally written, with Mo being the one to finish the reading.

And...just...UGHANDISONGALKHGIDONAAGDIHGIODNFAHIOHCNDAKLHGIOdl!!!

Oh God, America. I guess I'll pass on seeing it.

I hated that book. LET IT BE KNOWN.

I seriously adored the books (so far), and thus am refusing to see the film.
For a start, why the heck is a book set in europe got an all-American cast?
And I don't remember any unicorns.

Well, ask yourself this: why are books set in foreign, fantastical countries made into movies with British actors?

Answer: people are dumb.

Oh, that is most certainly another rant of mine.

Same thing with Avatar and Dragonball. WTF are the makers smoking? Seriously. White people instead of Asain people? I'm going to start a prejudice against my own kind, at this rate...

i most certainly agree.

'Inkheart' the movie sucked and broke my heart. so did The Golden Compass (they ferked up the ending too) and 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'.
the American actors were a bad idea considering the author is German and lives in Germany, and the characters are more likely to be so then 'american'. I did like the way Dustfinger was done, though. But Tinkerbell was completely missing...

the book was so amazing and they went and changed the fricken plotline!!

if they're making a second movie, it's gonna be all messed up for the plot and such.

I HATE THE MOVIEMAKERS.
