If I.. Did my math right, which I doubt since I've always been bad at math, I got a 12? XD What's this mean in terms of the RP?

Not sure how you got 12....

But since you got a 4, 10, 5

4 and 5 are both successes so that's 2 successes

and 10 is an absolute success so that is also 1 success

Therefore you have a total of 3 successes so you will move 3 spaces

Yeah its really different than anything I've ever done before, but I couldn't think of any other way to do it, so out came this method. I'm glad its actually working too!

My last roll was 10-10-2 does that mean I move one or two spots since it says regardless of the success - failure absolute successes isn't affected?
