Who can not freaking wait for this amazing mod?
This is a remake of the original half Life in the source engine because valve was lazy when they made Half Life: Source. The graphics are delicious and the voice acting is pretty good too.

I wonder if they re-voiced the Gman. I hope not, because it wont sound right. the Barney voice they did is pretty accurate though. They just made him sound a little country.

I heard they had to rename it to Black Mesa. I wonder if Valve is claiming IP on this game, like they've done with other mods.
I mean, it's great for the publicity and availability for the game, the only downside is that Valve will then charge you in Steam (I.E. Garry's mod used to be free back when it was first released, now it's $10 )
Though I wouldn't mind paying $10 for BM:S. I seriously can't wait until it comes out. biggrin

I doubt they would, I mean, it's been going on for so long Valve would have known about it for quite some time. I hope they wont be dicks.
And the reason Gary's Mod costs money isn't because Valve claimed it, it's because they made a deal with Gary. Valve gave him all the source engine coding, and in exchange they get to sell the game and share the profites 50/50. Gary has made over a million dollars off of the game.

I showed all my friends it and now they can't wait either. I even got a friend to buy Half Life 2.

I want the game so bad. I never played Half life but read about it. Getting this game will be like so awesome.

I really hope this mod hasn't been abandoned. I went to the site recently and the only news posted was from the last time I checked... over nine months ago. I'm really looking forward to this mod. I think that at this point they pretty much can't abandon it, what with the masses of awaiting fans that will murder them if they don't (like me.) So, I'll just keep telling myself that they've been too busy fine-tuning the game to release any news.

Nah, they don't do page updates much, but they talk in the forums everyday.
