A lot of you know, I stopped watching wrestling like 6 months ago, maybe a little more. And for about 6 months before that, I barely watched wrestling. It got the point that WWE and TNA was not set to record on my DVR anymore. Wrestling besides SWA was out of my life.
Then Jericho started being this amazing heel, and working a sick program with HBK. So I tuned in again, just skimming the show, to get to their stuff. But it was something, it was wrestling.
But again I stopped watching because it ran it's course and only one thing was hooking me. So basically for awhile I haven't watched wrestling besides SWA.
...
Then I heard that christian was coming back to WWE. Then this whole Jeff Hardy attack angle started. And I had heard so many times from so many sources that Christian was the one attacking Jeff, and doing this stuff...I thought the angle was kind of stupid at first, but I knew it would pay off big for Christian, so I was excited. So, I started watching SMACKDOWN. Wrestling was back in my life. And this Hardy/Accident storyline actually was playing out pretty well. With some viewer friendly twists and pyro explosions. It was a good angle...it was a good angle under the pretense that it was Christian.
Tonight we found out it was Matt Hardy...........................and now in retrospect the angle sucked. To think Matt Hardy did all those things to Jeff, is the WWE trying it's hardest to make us hate Matt....which is all well and good, but theres a couple problems.
#1. Matt & Edge hate each other. There is no way you're going to make people believe that Matt Hardy hates Jeff more than Edge. No way. Not going to happen.
#2. Matt vs. Jeff failed before. Previously they had tried this, and it's widely known that the angle failed epicly. It stunted both man's careers for months, and it was a rating, merchandise, and fan disaster. Because people could not commiting to picking a hardy. No matter which hardy was your favorite, you still liked the other one, and you couldn't root for either. To top that off it just wasn't believable. Why try it again?
#3. Christian......where the ******** does he fit in now? Are we going to be forced to choke down Christian & Jeff vs. Edge & Matt? As christian returns because of disgust at what his brother Edge is doing! Or do we have to choke on that Christian returns as yet another Edge croonie! To test Jeff on Jeff's journey to get revenge on Edge!
My point is, bad booking, epic fail. SMACKDOWN is no longer an option for me.
You almost had me again WWE. AALLLLLLLMMMMOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTT.

While you have every right to hate and find wrestling dead, some of your points are misguided.
#1 Matt and Edge are over it like adults.
#2 Why try again? Maybe to do it better, do it with them having actual personalities other than The Hardys. Now They're Matt and Jeff, it's over some gold, the stakes are higher, they're bigger names, and when once you fail, TRY TRY AGAYNE
#3 From what I can tell Edge is not affiliated in the storyline other than being Jeff's opponent last night. I think this is going to be singulated on Hardy vs Hardy, so Edge and Christian will just be something different. Plus this opens up Christian to even be on Raw, or even in TNA, all these rumors and feelings could of all been a nice FU to the internet community to get PPV buys. Beautifully done as well.
But yeah. Wrestling sucks, Hardy vs Hardy sucks, not for the reasons you have displayed.

When Jeff Hardy won the WWE Championship despite it being for the sole purpose of shutting the fans up, my interest was peaked to see what angles WWE would do with him. And so I started watching Smackdown again as well. And these rumors I heard about Christian...is he really coming to the WWE? Will he reach World title status like he did in TNA, or are the idiots that are the World Wrestling Entertainment writers gonna treat him like s**t. AGAIN?! rolleyes

Ok, so you're not a fan. Some of us still are. I don't think it calls for a detailed description of WHY you don't like it. Just don't watch it.
What I want to know is where people got this crazy idea that Christian was coming back? They expected him to be behind the Jeff Hardy scandal, didn't happen. They expected him to be at the rumble, didn't happen. Now everyone thinks he'll be back at wrestlemania, that probably won't happen, and everyone will be disappointed again.
Don't get your hopes up on rumors, kids.

Me personally I would love to see Hardy Vs. Hardy for the pure sake of the wrestling aspect of it NOT the angle aspect. The storyline makes things a bit more intersting though regardless of how it plays out. That is if I had cable :/
Maybe as far as the christian rumor goes they want Hardy vs Hardy at Mania as well as Edge vs Christian. That I will say WILL sell.
Well here's something for you. Helms may very well be involved in the angle as a friend of both not knowing who to side with.

Eddie & Chavo, Kane & Undertaker, Owen & Bret, etc. I, however, find the timing horrible. This is going to distract them both from their respective titles. Neither can reclaim their WWE or ECW titles cause they'll be too busy bickering with each other. However, I'm guessing the culmination of this new feud is going to bring along with it one hell of a ladder or cage match. I'm hoping for a finale at the Money in the Bank ladder match.

They probably figured that idea out, in the too busy to look at the titles, and hence free up the titles for other people to bicker over at wrestlemania. They don't want Jeff to be for the title at Wrestlemania and feel that maybe the two within themselves is a good draw without having the ECW title involved.
