So on a lark, I looked up Gorkamorka in Wikipedia, and it made casual mention of the rules being re-released with the new Ork Codex. Dying to find out more, I went to Specialist Games, and found this, emphasis mine:

The problem with GorkaMorka, as some people have already pointed out, was that it was very samey and if you wasn't into Orks you were never goint to get into it.

It did lead the way for the Necrons to appear in 40K though.

I will republish the rules to co-incide with the 40K Ork release.

For now,

Awesome.

All we can do now is hope for Andy to do what he said. o:

They could even piff up the GorkaMorka rules making them a tad bit "new" since it's based on 2nd edition rules, combat and driving is confusing to me even though I've gone through it several times. xD

Da Blazin' Skullz o' Grimlock 'EadBang - Gorker Warband

Nob: Flak armour, frag/krak stikkbombz, slugga, choppa, knuckles (well they're free)
Cost: 21 Teef

Spanner: Slugga, choppa
Cost: 9 Teef

Trukk: Mounted 'eavy Shoota
Cost 35 Teef

Driver Boy: Knuckle
Cost: 5 Teef

Shooter Boy: Knife
Cost: 5 Teef

Slugga Boy: Studded armour, choppa, slugga
Cost: 8 Teef

Shoota Boy: Studded armour, shoota, choppa
Cost: 9 Teef

Big Choppa Boy: Studded armour, 'eavy choppa
Cost: 8 Teef

I took the studded armour because of the minis I use (and because I had some teef over), having small plates here and there I thought I could afford this lil thing for me boyz (using converted kommandos models). The boyz are few but that's because this is my starting warband, having lotsa stuff to buy them later, more boyz, more vehicles, more gubbinz. I am also aware that the Nob can use his stikkbomb as a choppa and that I still bought him a choppa is because of the modelling of him, sometimes you want to chop someone up instead of letting them say BOOM!

WAAAGH!

My local gaming club has just started with gorkamorka and we are getting ready for a campain. The best way to get models is on ebay, and if your lucky some times a rule book shows up.

You need the old trucks, traks and a mob of boys/ grots. Unless your wanting rebel grots who need diffrent transports.

You don't need specific GorkaMorka models, normal orks are just fine.

And you don't need the old trukks, the new ones have the same size where you put the models.

But the old bases is something I would suggest though, makes you able to fit more boyz in the trukks.
